anybody read the hellsing manga? it's really good. after watching all the anime and finding out that there isn't :( going to be a second series i went out and bought the first manga graphic novel and it's really good. also, the anime is really close to the manga in my opinion. just wondering everyone else's thoughts?

Assuming that Gunslingergirl would actually be a GIRL, no she can't be Spike or Sephiroth because your character has to share your gender.
Also, the Yen-Dollar rate changes daily. Today's rate on base is 117 yen equals 1 dollar. When doing it in my head I just do 100 yen to 1 dollar (the usualy rate out in town). So basically it's roughly one yen is one cent.

That's why all denominations of less than one yen were discontinued; the sen (1/100 yen) and ren (1/1000 yen) just weren't worth the hassle.

Well... he can write, read, talk(hes technically human turned into a weasle ,or "ermine" if you will ,by magic), and he can also smoke ciggarettes... so i dont think he's verry problematic... but if he still isnt acceptable, i can be represented by Kotaro... a ninja who can TRANSFORM into a fox. But im still REALLY hopeing for Chame-kun.

Alucard seems to be available and those series/movies check out, even the AniMatrix. The AniMatrix thread on wikipedia states, "most of the project was created by notable figures from the world of Japanese animation."

Everyone loves libraries with manga, that's what introduced me to half of what I read now.
Of course, I got manga at the library when I lived in Hailfax, them and their damn nice libraries!!!

Of course it was. Even Yoshiaki Kawajiri (made Ninja Scroll and the Wicked City movie) and Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Shamploo) were involved. Also, the guy that made Blue Submarine Number Six did the "Second Renaisance" part. I was never into Blue sub #6, though.
