(Welcome back Morgana... You may need to re-join the club. Standard procedure, I apologize.)

Okay folks, I'm gonna pitch an idea to you guys, tell me what you think of it.

If Tink is absent, and Wonko is on a tour of duty, then other members will need to update the list. I'd volunteer to help, but I'm under academic probation for failing a course last quarter and need to make sure I get a GPA of at least 2.3 this time.

My personal recommendations that will qualify a member for memberlist updating.

A. Is a club authority figure
B. Is club founder
or
C. Has been active in the club for more than a year and a half.

BTW, is anyone here watching "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya"?

Okay, but as Plan "D": Name me a mod of the club, and when the list needs updated..dial me up on AIM or any other messager I have and I'll do the detail.

Can't have everyone the duty for maintaining the list for who knows what may happen.

Speak for someone that hardly visits or doesn't even tries to run the club and when you do, you run with your tail between your legs and come up with some BS reason.

Besides I been here long enough, seen it's ups and downs and with my timetable: I'm the right type of mod for the job. So spar your breath and let me do the business without anymore BS.

Lest we forget that I still have a powerful, yet indirect say in the management of this club. Anything I propose must be approved a club leader or by a majority of club members. This was a stipulation of resignation as leader. This will be only the second time I will have exerted this power since then. My low-profile nature as club founder is far from intentional, as you all know, I do work for a fansub group as well as run my own anime raw providing group. My participation in such activities does take up a large chunk of my time.

Besides I been here long enough, seen it's ups and downs and with my timetable: I'm the right type of mod for the job. So spar your breath and let me do the business without anymore BS.

I'm sorry, but shameless self-promotion isn't going to get you anywhere... While you are indeed eligible if this ballot measure passes, you probably wouldn't be at the top of my list. There are more qualified posters and they don't necessarily need to be authority figures. But then again, if the measure passes, the selection will be made by Wonko.

BTW, character change...

After much consideration and juggling among among my older Anime Club identities (Shuugo, Kohaku, Kouga) I am changing my character back to Kouga. I am doing for 3 reasons.

1. I no longer like Bleach. The anime has gone downhill and the manga is getting a little stale.

2. Kouga has been kicking ass in the latest Inuyasha manga chapters.

3. To dispel all accusations that I changed my name to escape the association of of a power-grabbing personality. I don't fear my past. However, if this name change causes too much controversy, I will change it back.

Because all members of the club (leaders and founder included) must follow the rules, I will now take myself through the formalities.

My top 5 favorite anime.

1. .hack//Legend of the Twilight
2. Inuyasha
3. Chrno Crusade
4. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
5. Elfen Lied

Orphen, Outlaw Star, Rurouni Kenshin, Vampire Hunter D, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Apple Seed (the remake, at least, but I don't know if the original is good) Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll....okay, that's enough.

Dropping in for a quick moment...
First of all, I greatly appologize for not being around. It's horrible of me and I wouldn't blame you all if everyone that knew me in this club hated me for it. I've been through some really screwed up problems in the past year but I hope that I am finally approaching the end of all that. I'm moving within the next week and to tell you the truth I don't even know where I'm going to live. Money is short and I have to find a place quick. That being said, I'm almost certin I won't have internet for a few months and even after that I may have to resort to *gulp* dial-up. A sad story for me indeed. However, through all this I hope to eventually lead a normal life again. If that's true I will be back here as often as possible (rather you want me to or not : P). When I get back I'll need a few people to catch me up on what's been going on in the past... forever. lol I hope that you all will understand that I don't have a choice but to be gone for so long. Please forgive me. I miss everyone so very much.

Enough with my depressed ranting. I should at least mention some anime I've watched lately huh? Well xxxHolic the movie was pretty good imo. I pretty much like anything that CLAMP makes. I've been reading the manga from the begining (although I've missed that past 2 vols. from lack of funds) and I've just loved it all the way through. Other than that I haven't been being a very loyal otaku lately. I just don't have the money to be. : ( I do read Shojo Beat mag though. I never knew how much I liked shojo until I started reading it. Not all the stories are the greatest but I enjoy most of them.

On another note, has anyone heard about the new name for the Nintendo Revolution? It's called Wii. Yes, I said Wii. You know what that tells me? When I finally get to see and play it, I'll probably want to take wii wii on it. Don't get me wrong, I've always loved Nintendo but come on. Have you SEEN that new controler? I don't want to even think about it for fear that I may lose my lunch. How am I supposed to play my beloved zelda games on that thing? *cries*

Anyhow, I hope to be back around soon. I may drop in within this week to say hi again but don't count on it. The moving process is not an easy one. Love you all lots. <3

How strangely erotic... I can't wait to play with my Wii!

Actually, it's a responsibility I'd love to pass on to someone else. But it's not my password to hand out to other people, so I can't. If anyone else is to do it, Tink needs to trust them enough to give them her password. Ans Master inuyasha was doing it, till he had an absence as well.

We are? Well if you want to go way back, lets start discussions on when Ng was all 8-bit, there were no mods, and no clubs and crews. Flame wars were every where, and people would drag them from thread to thread.

Yeah well, for the 5th time in a row, something has gone wrong with me updating that list, destroying all my work just as I was almost done. I'm starting to get pissed off.

Why would Nintendo call their new system the Wii anyway? And i've seen that controler. It looks like a remote with an analog stick attached to it.

I have a dilemma here: my dad's income tax is coming soon, and there's a place where I can get complete collections of Anime series fo 59.99. There are quite a few I want, but I can only pick 2. The ones I want are Full Metal Panic, .Hack//Sign, .Hack//Legend of The Twilight, Hellsing, Witch Hunter Robin, Gungrave, Slayers, and Trigun. So, which 2 should I get out all of these?

First off, nice to see you back if only for a few Tink. :) I have faint memories of our first online computer. We had what I assume was 56K or lower. You have my sympathies, although since the longest I've been without internet recently was just over half a week, I can't imagine your suffering. Hope the rest of your life is going well though.

Wonko, I don't have that much computer knowledge, but if you describe the problem to me, I can talk to a few of my friends. I imagine one or two of them would be able to solve it.

For my birthday a week ago, my friend gave me a few anime DVDs, including his copies of the first two InuYasha movies, since he got new copies of them. I'm still waiting for him to get me the fixed versions of the Ranma discs, though. (At one point, he bought the entire Ranma 1/2 series, along with the OVAs and movies, from some guy on Ebay. But when he got it, he found out they were just cleverly-disguised burned DVDs. [When I say cleverly, I mean the guy had also scanned the DVD cover art onto each disc. This guy was thorough.] But it gets better. Half of the DVDs work perfectly, but the other half are fucked up beyond belief [there's like 20+ DVDs in this set]. So, my friend said he'd find a way to help me watch any episodes on discs that don't work. I imagine I'll get those the same time I get the Slayers OAVs that he said he'd let me borrow, which'll be around the time hell freezes over at the rate things are going.

Shit, I've got two AP Exams coming up. My lovely AP US History exam in like four days and my AP Chem in nine. They'll be easy to pass, but what I really want to see is the look on my History teacher's face if I get a five. The dumbass promised to take me out to lunch if I got 5/5 on the exam, and I don't think any scale known to man can measure how much I can eat.

Hellsing is very cool and exciting
Witch hunter robin is good too
Gungrave is the Very Good but...really sad...
Trigun is quite old but it is as good as gungrave.

For me, i would get full metal panic and trigun
