Don't gorget that fact that their outfits are more skimpy in the comic.

has anyone here ever read the mangas, eiken, the boss, or getbackers

Nope, can't find those where I live.

No, but I have Eiken on DVD. I also started watching Jungle de Ikou, Amazing Nurse Nanako, and Devil Hunter Yohko recently, but it will be a while before I finish any of them; my DVD player isn't working quite right and I can only watch ecchi on the one in the living room when my parents are both away and I have a day off from work.

Hellsing DVD is pretty decent but the extra features lack that of what they should be, nonetheless an adequate collection. Very much like Vampire Hunter D. That was a classic. When of the few gems in Tokyo manga.

Asides from "Public Television Series Nerfing of comic proportion types", maybe it's pretty troublesome to... er... animate back then?

Well, atleast he's old enough to watch those Animes, right? It's not like he hasn't seen stuff like that before. I guess it's jsut that he doesn't want his parents to see that. To: Mr_trivia: Don't you have a PS2? That can play DVDs. Why not just hook up the PS2 in your roomand watch DVDs in there?

I think the first is one is much better, but Bloodlust is good, too. I own both.

I'd recommend staying away from that one. I thought Vampire Wars was very bad.

Strangely enough vampire games really doesn't have anything to do with vampires. Mostly.

yes I know I was only kidding I didn't mean to insult anybody and I respect the fact that he doesn't want his parents seeing that show. Im sorry mr.trivia, plus kronik you only need to be 13 to see a show like jungle de ikou.

oh E-rB-A before i forget the only good anime and manga I can offer you is akira, dirty pair(really hard to find comics!!!!!) Berserk, cromartie high school, Fooly cooly, Super milkchan (really random with odd humor) and Ghost in the shell(a awesome movie)

I thought Jungle De Ikou would be more older Teen oriented I mean it does show breasts, doesn't it? I guess it depend how many times they are shown. I haven't seen Jungle De Ikou, yet. Anyway, I rented volume 3 of Kiddy Grade at Block Buster (I couldn't find volume 1).

Upon entering Best Buy and on my way to make a purchase I see that there's a box set for the entire season of Ghost in the Shell but turns out its only two movies in this little tin box. I was charged 6$ extra just for the box. Thats somewhat retarded. Last time I buy anyhting detailed of a "box set"

I've only seen part of Vimpaire Hunter D. I think it was a good story lined anime, but was crappyly made.

Way back in its time, something around 1999 this was made before they could use lighting to better graphic perception. Story was flawless.

Vampire Hunter D was not made in 1999. It was made in the 80s....But anyway, It's a sweet flick- neat characters, good art style, and cool action sequences.

That happened to me when I bought the movie set of Neon Genesis Evangelion. The cashiers make mistakes sometimes. Usually when you buy a boxset, the DVD cases in it wil be thin.
