Sure, just list your five favorite anime/manga and choose a character to represent you. The rules of this club and the list of characters already chosen are in this link.

You might like the character Sakura from Hyper Police; that's the only female kitsune I can think of, and she's available, but it's only a suggestion.

Is it okay with everyone if i am Kaze from Final Fantasy : Unlimited?
Here are my faves:
1.Inuyasha
2.FFU
3.Pokemon
4.Ranma
5.Neon genesis evangelion

Caution spoilers....I think
YO I'm back I've been at school working hard, anywho I'm turning sixteen in six days and I just got a early birthday present from my big brother
AKIRA vol 1 and 2
I have to say I'm impressed that are able to fill all the Akira comics in six volumes, while on amazon I was thinking of buying the AKIRA special edition but while reading reviews for it I heard that the voice acting sucked and then I read some guys review and he say that the best voice acting hes heard for akira is the Laserdisc version. the only version i've heard are the vhs 1991 akira from Orion and the Vhs 2001 akira from Pioneer, no offense to anyone but I like the 2001 better than 1991 version because the voice actors were much more serious. anywho the only reason I listen to the english verison is because my eyes hurt from reading the subtitles to long but still, i'd like to see akira in japanese, anyway if someone here has ever seen the laserdisc version please confirm if what I was Reading, is true or not.
P.S. if I snag any more cash for my birthday I'm totally going to buy a hell of alot of manga

Whoops, sorry for the double post, but...

Edit: I mean that if I signed up for one, I would end up having to report back and forth where I am going etc... Hence I would not sign up for one and be more free, despite being only allowed to stay for half a year.

I just got vol 2 of the Berserk manga. I have a question for those who have read th whole series up to the latest volume:

****SPOILER****
when do they get to the part that takes place after the Hawks Raiders are killed off by the demons and Griffith rapes Caska? I don't want anybody to tell me what happens. I just want to know when I'm going to find out exactly what happened after that. That's where the television series ends.
****END SPOILER****

I don't plan on getting any other mangas soon, but could anybody reccomend any other series for whenever I get a different manga?

What's up anime club? It's been a while since I've even been here. During the holidays I was stocking up on new anime, pocky, and the like. I've got mostly adv licensed anime and it's alright. Got the whole series of Dai-Guard for $5 with a limited edition box too. Pretty nukeass.I also want the 4th volume of cromartie to complete the whole manga. Don't want to buy retail cuz I'm a cheap bastard.

I just got my first taste of Pocky this week, and now I know why so many people love it. I'm slowly but surely becoming a regular customer at Bento Go Go, the Japanese restaurant at Ohio State. I also made some more anime purchases, which I should try to cut down on if I want to have enough money for next Quarter's books and tuition. I ordered Amazing Nurse Nanako, Jungle de Ikou, Eiken, and Devil Hunter Yohko. All of those combined cost me $86.86 on Amazon.com and I should start receiving them by the end of the month.

I have Jungle de Ikou on VHS and its a pretty funny anime but a very dirty anime, lots dirty humor and music. I was thinking of buying the cromartie Manga because I watch the show on my cable service adelphia along with Full metal panic fumoffu and slayers. anyway my question is the manga version any different from the show because usually I read the manga first and then watch the show or vice versa and I find that the manga is a little different from the show or a show different from the manga.

Absolute Anime has plenty of info on Devil Hunter Yohko. It's about a boy-crazy 16-year-old in a red silk dress who banishes demons.
Also, I don't mind getting two episodes per disc. Amazing Nurse Nanako has more fanservice than you can shake a stick at, so I'd probably be spent after watching two episodes.

I hear a lot of this when I see schoolboys pick on the "Foreigners" of their schools.

I'm going to Kyoto to pursue my career as an animator/manga artist. The environment is perfect for studying, especially since it's more rural. Fresh air, and the relatively helpful people.

Oh, and I'm chinese by the way (Wasn't very obvious, was it? XD).

Welcome back. I remember before I joined I'd see you here. In other news, has anyone seen the heard of the rumor following up on the show Furi Kuri? There's a rumor going on that a sequel is going to be made to this series. I highly doubt it to say the least, but anything is possible. They are coming out with another Hellsing soon.

I feel this sudden need to kiss Red's ass for some reason.
Argh, the mindset must have grown on me.
Anyways, haven't gotten much chance to see new anime lately. I've been sticking with Evangelion and FMA when they show the new episodes on AS (I got too into Eva, to the point where I have sites that breakdown the entire series bookmarked now. I feel so low. *sobs*). I've also stuck with re-watching an episode or two of Vandread or Vandread the Second Stage when they come on Encore WAM! And I've been catching Full Metal Panic and Lost Universe on Comcast On Demand.

***SPOILER ALERT***

I'm sure everyone knows what FMP is (or at least, you all know as much as or more than me), but Lost Universe doesn't strike me as being as well known. Well, remember in Slayers Try when Armace was trying to summon Dark Star into Shabranigdo/Ceiphied's world? Well, Lost Universe takes place in Dark Star's world, many years before Vorfeed and Dark Star merged.

***END SPOILER***

Sure thing.

That'd be terrible. That was a show that would have failed miserably had it gone on any longer. One of the major reasons it was so good and succesful was because of it's six episode length. That being said, if they DID make a sequel, I'd want to see it, though I doubt it'd be as good.

I'd have to agree with you on the length part, in my own opinion, if you want something that is completely random but still good that makes fun of other Animes, please for the love of all that is good. Try Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. That is a great Anime. One that didn't start from a manga, the manga came second.

As for another Hellsing? Meh. The first wasn't anything spectacular, the next won't be either.

I always we get these two mixed up, but it's not supposed to be a sequel or anything like that. It's suppose to be an OAV, or OVA. Something along those lines. They said that they were going to follow the manga more closely this time, and this is old news from about four months ago. I wonder how it's turning out?
