I agree, my dad has only very recently discovered that what I do is a positive thing once I started getting $800 dollar checks from my portion of sponsorship deals. I really do think that flash movies are the best form of modern art around, I can't say I've seen anything better in the last few years in the form of art.

Well not really hate, but it's so annoying that whenever I tell people how many hours a flash took they look astounded, as if they think it's easy to just create another 5 minute masterpiece.

Notice the text at bottom describing the number of particles and springs currently existing, springs are created as particles move close enough to eachover, the springs serve to try and throw the particles apart again past the breaking point of the spring, so springs are constantly being created and destroyed - until the screen is saturated atleast in which case the spring number stays quite consistent as the particles slower and reach an equilibrium state - That is, if the mouse wasn't throwing everything away from it :)

Now, what annoys me, is that the graphics is the bottleneck here, even using bitmaps and bitmap blitting, its still the bottleneck, and if i want to render the springs as lines? yeh right, you wish, i can only have about 600 particles if i dare do that!

My Graduation

Got there 15 mins early, talked pot politics with a new friend while waiting for over 3 hours, then finally went up there, smiled, shook hands with currupted school board bastards, and left over an hour earlier then I was suppose too.
Instead of sitting back down like I was suppose to at the end. I kind of kept walking and then got my sis to drive me to my fathers grave so I could give thanks. Now everyones bugging me with special treatment and offering me money for drugs and asking what special dinner I'd like.
I told everyone to fuck off pleasently and am now finally at peace in my own room part-taking in a lil' rest and relaxation.

Also, a friend of mine was talking to me about possible entering politics myself... I'm considering it. :3

Getting back into the groove...

I seem to be the type of person that is easily thrown off from his animation and flash habits due to something that happens in their lives. I'm such a fucking emo. It's annoying. But anyways, I started working on a little side animation to start off the embers of actually getting into animating again. I don't want to persue in the whole "Episode 1" of my "Life of a Smiley" series, just yet -- because I don't want to wreck it since I haven't animated for quite sometime now. I have to think about this thing.

Do you guys tend to swap projects easily once bored with one or once you're back into animating? Or do you just continue your casual animation/game you've been working on for months? :)

Actually theirs two high schools in my area. Chilliwack and Sardis. The Sardis high school was caught inflating marks of their students and babying them through courses while Chilliwack kids actually worked and earned their marks.

Anyway I got to acknowledge my father as part of the ceremony and that's the only thing that I cared about.
