no but seriously, I wrote an essay last year about whether "Metamorphosis" was fantastic fiction, or something surrealism, it trumped all other high school essays I had written up till then in stupidity, because you were basically supposed to say whether it was one thing or another which are essentially the same and unimportant.

Also, never read metamorphosis.

And Glaiel, that essay was pretty creative, but if you see it that way, Newton's laws can be compared almost to anything.

I think my most stupid essays are the ones i write for the filosofy class, i need to write about a book 'Sophy's world', but instead of a direct report of the book the teacher wants an analysis in which we write our 'filosofies' based on the book, so if for example we read about x filosopher that says that the world is an illusion i have to write what i think about that. I always end up filling the pages with all my random and stupid toughts like 'what if we are inside a tv show' or something. I also ended up discovering that aliens exist and a lot of stupid stuff. The teacher has never returned the essays but i always get good grades so either he liked them or doesnt read them at all..

But seriously, essays are the easiest thing ever. I think it's cause english teachers have bullshited their way through tons of essays in University that now they already know your bullshitting too and as long as it makes any sort of partial sense, they give you marks.

Heard this one guy tried to see if you could get anything worse than an F. He swore on his assignment and in the end when he got it back he got the F but also a note below saying "See me after class".

I couldn't think of any hilarious, witty essays that I've written... but I do remember the time where my friends and I made a collage on To Kill A Mockingbird about the supposed Mayella Ewell rape scene (which of course, if you read the book, never actually happened).

What we did was take OJ Simpson, a biking girl, and a happy woman, and conglomerated it into a funny collage.

...To put a long story short, it got rejected by the teacher and the vice principal -- surprisingly, not for the sexual content, but for the fact that the black man, Tom Robinson, was pictured as an evolutionary creature (a decision by my friend purely because it was in the right position, not intended to be hurtful -- srsly), and was deemed racist. We made a new one.

Alright, so I'm only in Middle School so we don't really write essays or anything, but one time in Geography we had to do a presentation about a USA state. I had Connecticut, so I decidedly called it Connect-A-Cut, and to say the least, I packed it full with old internet memes. I put rick rolls, Shoop da whoop, o rly? ya rly, some lolcats, and at least one funny meme on each slide (i had about 10, plus 2 extra for the O rly? on one slide, and the Ya rly on the other slide) I think it was pretty awesome since every one laughed even though no one got the joke except for my friend.

I like this... it makes me lol greatly.

I usually take my lit essays uncharacteristically seriously :P It's my best subject.

I do know one guy who wrote an essay on 'Rape of the Lock' where he said that a sideboard was a metaphor for Jesus, though :P His train of thought went along the lines of: Tea on table > Table being crowned with tea > Crown > Crown of thorns > Jesus!

I find I can write loads in a short amount time and still maintain a decent quality, also, I've been doing a fair few essays on the Holocaust at the moment, it's pretty depressing :/

Stupid income...the government can legally take 30% of my earnings because I'm self-employed! I'm becoming an S-corp instead of LLC to avoid some of these ridiculous taxes.
