HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!

Does it actually perform equally for all three states it triggers under?
Pressure from both sides? Pressure? Pressure is gas hitting boundaires. I think you mean tension. The tension is always ((modulus of the band)*extension)/natural length.
And of course, you can integrate this to get elastic potential energy being (modulus*extension^2)/(2*natural length)
I would also like to state that I beat Delta at maths A level, and at only 2 years older than him, too!
Also, my willy is bigger than deltas.

pressure is not just gases, if you have an object resting on the ground, it exerts a certain pressure on the ground depending upon its weight and the area in contact with the ground.
Newgrounds needs to have super and subscript tags >.<

Pressure is just a measurement of force per area (Nm^-1) as far as I'm aware. They haven't really got back to us on pressure outside of ideal gasses since Y9, though - I think they expect us to actually remember it O.o

looks like you need to brush up a bit, area = m^2 not m^1 ;)

Why do you use an alt? What happened to you old account? I know it got stolen at one point, but I thought it all got sorted out.
Delta, when can we expect to see a fully functioning knex-microprocessor? Will it be capable of rendering your tau'ri (?) game?

As soon as he's finished making his Lego-Wii.

It did, but then apparently it got unsorted out again.

Adobe's Next Gen video
Friend of mine forwarded me this info I thought i'd share it, anyone know anything about it?
'The most important event to hit this space in the next few months will be a groundbreaking change in video technology on the web represented by Adobe's Flash support of H.264 native video. One cannot underestimate the impact this will have on the video experience on the web, and specifically on the full-screen experience. In rendering H.264, Adobe has further solidified Flash's place as the leader in online video. Expect to see full-screen video that looks as good as or better than your cable provider's over the net in the months to come. H.264 allows for double the quality at half the size of current Codecs used by Flash (On2's VP6). We will officially reach a tipping point in the ability to deliver a high-quality video experience seamlessly (with no downloads) over the web with this event. '

Choose Your Music
Would it be better if a game implemented a system that allowed the user to choose music from there computer into the game? Like in the options menu, they could upload a music file for the backround music in a certain part of the game (menu, levels, ect.). That way the person could decide what music of theres would fit certain parts of the game. There could be default music tracks in place, but there could still be the option to replace it with your own music. I realize theres a thing like this in Balloon Duel, but that one isn't a very good setup and never works for me.
Adobe's Next Gen Video
Haven't heard about it before reading that, but it sounds great.

So, are people gonna watch TV any more? I envision a future where every show is just Tivo'd, put online, and then watched there :P (I doubt that'd actually happen, but a lot of people are doing it already, I'd imagine)

If a game asked me to upload my music into the game so it would play for a level or whatever, I wouldn't ever actually do it, it just seems like a hassle and an unnecessary feature that wouldn't be worth the hassle. Being able to control the sound effects and music volume separately would be a good thing to have, because then people could just play their own music or whatever. But anyway, I think you should choose the music that goes in your game and just stick with it.
Music is just as important as graphics. You wouldn't let people upload their own graphics, would you?
Anyway it's more work than it should be. A volume slider is good enough.
Happy birthday to me! I was hoping to have a 1000 posts on my birthday, alas it was not meant to be... Birthdays also get kinda useless after your eighteenth, I can already do anything I want! Anyway, gotta go eat cakes.
NEXT GEN!

Meh, you can't beat the charm of old-skool TV watching in your bedroom on a crappy little foot-by-foot-by-foot screen which gives you eye cancer. Who needs newfangled internet TV, anyway? :P
