Crazy Moving Shenanigans
Excuse my recent absence from the forums... if unnoticed than avert your eyes to this message. I am moving 450 miles South (still California), but my life is going through a huge transitional stage right now. I am moving into my own place for the first time, working a full-time job and finally being done with school. I hope to be around in a week or so, but until then, it's going to be John just trying to regroup in a new place. Los Angeles is going to be nuts.

it looks really nice, i rreally like it. the text is not that hard to read but still, you should make it a bit lighter like the nromal NG font :)

oh and the search thing doesnt work, it takes me to a 404 html error or something.

Work's quiet at the moment. Worryingly so. The current jobs I have involve redoing the company's business cards and checking for bug failures on some of our sites, whilst I await feedback on another two. One of the forthcoming projects though has allowed me to gain some research time...

So I get to play about with 3d. Again ^_^

Something tells me I'm going to have fun learning Sandy and Papervision (and I'll have lots more fun when I learn versions that'll run with that language upgrade I'm putting off learning). (mouse controls camera I guess... slowly getting to grips doing something other than making cubes, and soon, my god, I may even learn how to make textures render the right way around...)

That's neat.

Something tells me that it's more fun playing with the physics engine delta is working on for our game. (It's a surprise!). He's away for like a week now though so i can't tell him the wierd issues with the engine right now... i found a couple.

Anyone else fancy playing about with Sandy, the link was in the post above. Although Papervision's meant to be the god for Flash 3D stuff now with it's AS3 revision, Sandy looked much easier to break in, and looked like it would suffice for the stuff I wanted to use it for (low end 3d stuff, rather than rendering XWing Obstacle Courses)

Well, with you both working on it, I'm sure whatever it will be will rock. And playing with physics engines is fun- I had to do an entire university module messing about with 3ds Max's Reactor physics engine - it was awesome making a Rube Goldberg Mousetrap

Eh, skiiing documentary. That sounds a lil weird, but I guess you could fit it in with the narrative film. Sounds pretty cool. Yeah, I was lucky enough to have long plane rides and finish my reading.

Senior years always easier. Teachers treat you with respect, you get a lot of free time, and its a breeze.

Haha yeah same here. Gotta read The Fountainhead and do some math packet... I'll probably do the math packet the morning of the first day haha. Sounds like you have a good schedule. I have a pretty good one too, but damn, you have 11 periods?!? or are the classes not in the same semester? My sched:

Sounds like a good idea to me. I was considering taking a break after high school and living in another country for year before going to college. I know some people who did it and it sounds like a good experience.
