Level Margins
I found out that Pimp(most exp.) still has over two years until he reaches level 60. It seems Tom has really raised the bar for levels. Or he's hoping that Newgrounds may last a while longer.

To be honest, I cant really see myself doing much else. I've also been considering teaching others flash - you can get quite a lot of money for little work. It's my kinda job!

I'm pretty sick of "idea" people myself, coming in here and fully expecting everyone to drop everything and make some idiotic Flash for them. Who do they think they are? Most Flash people I know have more ideas than time to make them.
They've been a part of the forum for longer that I've been here. You get used to them after a while. Although I do think the 'Let's start a team!!!' guys are basically just getting around the tightening of collab rules, which isn't cool.

I really can't see myself doing stuff like this as anything other than something in the background while I get a real job. It's a shame, though, since it's been my dream since childhood to work in the gaming industry :) It just feels like it's in a far different place to where it was in the mid to late 90s though - if I was ever going to work in gaming it'd have to be with some small company or other.
Gaming Industry
I think my dream job would be to either work for a gaming magazine as a layout artist/reviewer. I did a few drafts and people liked them.
Denvish Accounts
Well, ot technically accounts, anyway. For the people here that use denvish.net/ul, and who enter their user names when they upload, post the search page that comes up when you search for your name.
Here's mine, just press 'search by username' and search for 'depredation'.
Do it for me topics
People just don't realise how much time and effort it actually takes to create a decent movie and or game.
Flash in the future
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with my future (I'm only 14!), but the one thing I could see my self doing is something to do with animating. I may not become an animator (for games or otherwise) but it seems the my only career option at the moment :)

Why do you want them? Mines just got random scraps of stuff. Well, anyways, mines trig1.

Deffinitly. I have a lot to do though.

It was just a matter of interest.

:The simpsons Movie:
Has that come out yet in the states, or the UK yet?
It came out today in Australia and I just got back from seeing it. Disappointed. Well actually not really, as I didnt expect it to be that great from what the new seasons of simpsons have been like. They lost their touch of humour a long time ago...like season 9 or something. But I hate the fact that the simpsons will never be the same as it used to be back in the day. The repeats are the best!
I was gonna go into detail as to why I thought the movie wasnt so good, but I'll let you guys see it for yourselves.

Maybe not necessarily games but I think that most of us would want to do something that's at least computer/programming related.

I'm probably gonna see it some time soon. I've not got my hopes up too much. At all. I stopped watching the Simpsons when it went crap - it's sad how it declined from being the best thing on TV into what's basically a failed attempt at copying Family Guy.
Still, it should be fun watching it just to see how many times they use blatant CGI models with outlines while claiming to stand for old-fashioned 2D animation.

Yes, exactly like me.
Ive stopped watching all their new episodes.
And yes, there is a lot of blatant cgi models. Some of it doesnt even looked a bit awkward. But yeah, it was fun to watch the animation and visual side of things. But i thought the jokes were a bit, obvious and lacking. Just like the new generation of the show.

Naw only online... its sort of humorous now that i think about it.
Tracer
Saw you all talking about this movie earlier and didnt have time to contribute my thought on it. I think its pretty good.. i think rotoscoping has gotten a bad rep all these years, and its cool i guess that a movie is making no qualms about the technique and just going full out on it. I do wish however that the guy would tell people thats the technique hes using.. people who arent in the know are like falling into the misconception that someone really animates as if it was live footage.
I hope that movie tho opens the door to more exploration into the technique... last week i posted something similar i saw on youtube, its still roto but the technique is much different.

..::beheading game::..
I think there's a difference from Madness or other bloody, gory Flash in the fact that you actually have to participate in the killing of what we assume is an innocent life. In other violent movies and games the main character is generally killing in self defense or is on a mission to stop some kind of evil and madness and sticks are cartoonist representations of people and through society cartoon violence is acceptable.
..::luis the mexican::..
That's what you get for wearing your sombrero to Comic Con.
..::tracer::..
I've always thought rotoscoping was a valid animation techinique and the person who made Tracer went above and beyond the kind of rotoscoping that we usually see on newgrounds by being more than a simple outline. Fully colored and shaded and even making static images (like the hand holding the tracking device thing) have several frames of squigglyness so that it blended with the rest of the animation. Pretty awesome stuff.
