Well, my brother just bought his own computer, replacing the eight-year-old fossil my dad was letting him use. My dad didn't want the old computer back, so I installed Ubuntu Linux. This is my first Linux experience, and I'm quite impressed. The GUI seems like a fusion of Windows and TigerOS.

So, anything to recommend? I remember a long while back when Sonx linked to some guy's blog, who had completely pimped out their Linux with a 3D rotating cube desktop and some crazy water effect on the mouse. I'd like that :D

I seem to suck when it comes to websites. Every time I try to connect to my FTP host for those "free" domain hosts, there always seems to be an error. I want to set up my own website, which I'll happily pay $50 a year for, it's just that if I can't manage those stupid "free" sites how am I going to manage a real one? If you have your own real site could you tell me how you set yours up because I'm in dire need of help right now.

Do you have dreamweaver?

godaddy has the best deal for websites. If you get one from there I can tell you how to set up dreamweaver to make it easy to put files on the site

I've always wanted to make an SJ t-shirt, and today I did. The problem is, the website that I made and ordered it from (www.shirtmagic.com) has all of a sudden become buggy, and after I paid (with a credit card, nonetheless), it says it's still not paid for. What do you guys think?

Well they're still working on getting all the kinks ironed out from the redesign, if it's something you should be able to do, but can't. If it's something that hasn't been addressed I suggest that you leave a message for Bob on his profile page.

I think the idea is that they will now build this shit in, the old site was too impractical to do it with for some unknown-need-to-know magic reason.

I've ever only gotten 1 of those clips (in the old Newgrounds) and 2 saving clips. hey may be missing in the new re-design but I have noticed in the portal graveyard the clips look pretty neat :D
