Do you guys seriously have no lives? I mean, I go on NG occasionally, and animate when there's nothing to do, but you still need to have friends (real friends) and go hang out and stuff... You're just throwing away your years of highschool if you sit at a computer all day every day.

I was once you guys... but believe me, real friends are a lot funner to be around than internet friends :P

Spam
I agree with mogly, they are completely useless, nobody bothers opening them, let alone then going to the site and then buying something! I mean, when my game got on the front page of newgrounds and addictivegames.com it generated like 1500 hits to my page one day but then only like 10% bothered even clicking to another area on my site.
Makes you wonder how many people might click a spam email, click a link, then acctually buy something.

Also, this is how much spam i have.. I read my non spam emails and just leave the rest. Its built up over the year :D

Not during the day. I don't have a job so I've got nothing else to do in the day. It's a different story at night though, when I do go outside. I'm kinda like Batman, one way by day, another by night.

Errr.. Newgrounds is something you can do in the background. Post in a few topics etc, whilst animating or something. To be honest i prefer going on Newgrounds and flash than video games, infact i rarely go on video games at all. Are you saying you never play on the ps2 or xbox? You dont have to have no life to not go on NG. Stop pretending your so high and mighty by not comming here very often and besides you've come crawling back.

I literally never get spam, cos I enter my old email into every place that you need to. But I sometimes get those 'Someone you dont know has invited you to Bebo!' emails.

Didn't check my mail for a week and then found out I had 64 letters, all spam. They have become strangely active lately.

Plus, even my mobile operator has joined. Every day I recieve an odd commercia via SMS, something I never had before the summer.

I get no spam at all :D Not even in my junk folder. I guess I'm either incredibly lucky, or it's to do with having a .co.uk e-mail. I get a few random MSN peeps sending me invites to lame ass MySpace clones or stuff, or lame ass MySpace, but that's about it.

I post on the bbs because it is a somewhat social situation and one I'm not incredibly awkward at. I had a life but my situation got changed and now I don't. For now I am a relative shut-in. So, for the moment, this is as good as it gets. When I finally move out of this nowheresville and get to the big city, my life can resume again, and I'll probably, finally, be inspired to create again. But for now, this is how I interract with the world.

..::mainstream vs obscure::..

There are bands/artists that I like from both. For one thing most mainstream bands/artists have to have enough talent to achieve that status. Once a band/artist gets signed to a major label they are not suddenly crap, they're the same band/artist that I've been rooting for for awhile. Bands/artists that are more obscure and stay below the radar retain their cred for the fans and you have the feeling that you're a part of the underground music scene. Both are good but I tend to like the more undiscovered talent than the stadium show acts.

I get those all the time. It's fun to keep them talking because they can't actually speak English. Oddly enough, they always stop when you mention the letters 'FBI'.
