or you could just change the file extension to .fla and uplaod to denvish.. then once we donwlaod we cna rename file extention back to zip/exe..
good idea, it didnt work in the file browser, it just renamed it to 'dat.fla.zip' but i went into the command prompt and renamed it through that:
I had the same problem - there's an option in Folder Options or something for 'show file type' or whatever, and with that enabled you should be able to rename files properly.
It didn't do much good at school when I was trying to make an amateur .php hack for the school internet filter, but it's working fine for me here at home.
Flash Rants
I don't mind what people submit, just so long as it doesn't get grossly overrated. Like, every single animation ever made anywhere ever. There seems to be a x1.5 effect on the score of submissions which comes from just not being a game. Just GTFO.
Hate
I'm really not cut out for hating people :) I used to do it a lot when I was a kid, but I was a real idiot back then so I'm discounting it. I mean, if someone rwally pisses me off, I may hate them for like five minutes or something, but then I think back and go 'well, that was probably pretty funny actually...'
Actually, I'm not great at disliking people either. We could be talking to someone, and a mate could go like 'what an idiot' after they went, and I'd just be thinking 'OK, he is a bit of an idiot, but I don't really mind his company'.
It's the same for a lot of things, too. Like everyone who isn't into it says how crap dance or rap music are - which is fairly accurate most of the time. I'm prepared to believe that they're just taken out of context most of the time - OK, having dance music on in the common room (like it is almost all of the time) is pretty pointless and goddamn annoying, since we're all just sitting down and talking or playing cards. In a situation where people are actually dancing, and not completely sober, though, I'm prepared to believe that it just might be appropriate.
Love
I love everyone :D
