I stopped watching after the first season, it was interesting but then nothing happend and looked like nothing would happen.(Mostly true right?) But what I really loved was the plot lines they droped when the ran out of ideas. Like the 'monster in the jungle', 'polar bears', 'the black smoke monster', 'super strong "Others" (Why were they so uber?)' I'm sure there would be more.

I'm thinking that the funeral is either for Locke who probably died once his connetion with the island was severed, or it was for Ben who maybe after consideration Jake regretted what he'd done thus becoming suicidal, or even for Juliette who probably died of some mysterious ailment.

The thing that puzzles me is that a lot of things don't add up. I'm thinking that maybe all the evil done to have the survivors end up on the island was undone. I.E. Jack's father is still alive, and kate never killed her step-father, etc.

I don't think Jacks father is still alive...keep in mind we didn't actually see him during the episode. I think he was too hoped up on whateverthefuck he was taking and alcohol. I'm pretty sure he is still very much dead.

In all I do think it was an awesome 3 hours episode. I just regret missing the first hour. I don't understand however why Charlie sacrificed himself when he could have simple left the way he came in. AND WHY THE FUCK DOES RUSSIA KEEP COMING BACK TO LIFE!? That guy has died at least 9 times.

Season finale was really good but also REALLY weird. Instead of tying together loose ends it just made more mysteries.

The flashforward (or so it seems) was of course the weirdest part. First, who's in the coffin? It can't be Sun or Juliette or a any woman for that matter. If you zoom in and freeze frame the article Jack was holding, it said man dies, and also at the end Kate says it was a man. I'm leaning towards sawyer because of how they said he had no family and Kate didn't really want to go to the funeral.

As for the how they got off the island and everything and why Jack wanted to go back and what's up with the whole flashforward, I'm clueless.

Has anyone else noticed that every collab has the same people in it? Most of which can't even animate?
What happened to the collabs like mad world, and stop crying your heart out. Where the artists made extraordinary work. There's people that are like "Yeah, I might take a week to make this. Sorry if it's too long". The point of a collab is you don't have to do as much work, thus you can put a lot of effort into a small part and make it extraordinary. Rather than put the same ammount of effort into a shitty small part. </rant on hatred of collabs>

Tau'ri

After learning how to do shadow mapping, and after learning some important lessons on the previous beta engine, i started coding from the bottom again with a new framework for the game, and created all the menu systems.

So far the source code, including all my custom classes and shit is approach 3700 lines of code spread out over about 12 files.

Still being programmed in C++, graphical programming of vertex and fragment shaders still being done under CG.

dunno, havnt decided on the style yet, but it can be much brighter, i can increase light strength, cone radius etc, and increase ambient light to make it quite bright, atm, its mainly so dark so i could test the lighting properly.

That's what I figured. I suggest making it brighter in the end. Dark games don't go very well unless they are intended to give a scare. Also, you hard coded everything right? Is that just for your amusement and the sake of knowledge, or do you have a thing against 3D modeling programs?

i have nothing against 3d modelling programs, i just dont have one, which is why the test world consists of 2 triangles :P

unless you mean the graphics, in which case, its not 100% hard coded, im using openGL for the rendering, i just create the vertex and fragment shaders for per-pixel lighting - shadowing, normal mapping and everything.

Yeah, basically, here in london everyone labels everyone because of the music they listen to.
