That is an odd assumption. Why would we know about the French Elections? Perhaps if I still had a TV I might hear about it, if I watched the news. I suppose the Brits might pay a bit more attention to that, but people really only seem to stick their noses in to America's business...

Maybe. People say the same thing about Kurt Cobain...
Perhaps things are a bit different across the lake, being that is where they originated from and all.

I thought Luca was a girl's name. Regardless, that is a pretty badass last name, in my opinion.
Names
I once convinced someone my name really was Method, and that my parents were just hippies.
My name is Peter, or Pete. I hadn't really run in to many people with my name for most of my life(yet when I signed up for library cards or went to the doctor there were always people with my exact same name) but once I got to college I ended up living in a building with like three other people named Peter.

Haha, with Kurt it's true though. As a guitar player he's very overrated. He's always making into Generic Gutiar Magazine's Top 100 Guitarists of all time for some reason, normally above people like Neil Young & Elliott Smith. Some how greatest now means "most popular" instead of "most talented". He was a good song writer though.

Yea but he didn't need to be an amazing guitar player. I was having this discussion the other day. He was an image if nothing else. But he was a great lyricist and vocalist. He created an entire genre of music that died with him. Just because he wasn't a great guitar player doesn't mean he was overrated. There is more to a musician than their ability to play an instrument sometimes...

Kester? Thats original! I'm just Peter, Peter J. Garrett. Named after my great grandfather who was killed in world war I.

Juggling balls
Anyone got any juggling balls they can sell me? I only have 3, and my satsuma isn't doing me justice as my fourth ball (No point in any of you even trying to make that sound any more dirty). Anyway, juggling balls on ebay are too expensive. I'd rather have a second hand one that i can get for cheap. Preferably one thats red, green, yellow and blue (4 sections) about 120g and 66mm.
Give me your balls!

Months in the making, we bring you a small video demo. We don't want to show away the game until it's released, sowwy :)
Hope ya like the video, comments are welcome!
Edward Video Demo
Incredibly impressive! This game is going to be a huge hit! I am worried about the lag issues...and maybe the video just doesn't show it because you guys have great computers, but with so much going on won't it slow down? I hope not.
What you have so far looks absolutely amazing. When can we be expected to see it?

Yay, first comment, and yes it will not run at the full 60 fps, every single second of the game, but it varies throughout. Surprisingly though, the level with the most enemies on screen is the least laggy :P. We can't say exactly when it'll be out, but im going to do some wishful thinking and go ahead and say the beggining of July, if not earlier.

Thanks, really :)
While the game does have it's personal lag-points, it runs swell. Due to Flash memory build up, the first level is probably the laggiest, while the others are fairly lag-free. While it does depend on the computer you have, I have a fairly standard computer, and can honestly say that it runs great!
You can be expected to see a full length game, with several bosses, expansive levels, heaps of enemies presented throughout the game, a confidently-well composition of music for various levels, an exceptional load time for the whole game, well-animated cutscenes, tons of action and exlposions, and of course, lot's more that I can't think of off the top of my head =p
This post was written before I just pressed back to see that Buzzwerd replied =p

Holy shit, that looks fantastic. All the art blends and looks beautiful, the action looks intense, and the speed of the game looks perfect.
i'd also worry about the lag factor as well, but meh, thats what low quality is for =D. From the demo it looks like you guy are for the most part completed which is great. Can't wait to play.
I'm having trouble finding words to describe how great that looks
Edward Video
Nice work guys, those accordion-like enemies looks awesome! Those little alert/comment things should be fun too, and the arena thing looks really cool. A lot to look forward to from the looks of the video, can't wait to see it all come together.
The Animator and the Seat
In other news, If anyone keeps tabs with Eric Drobile (he created Merry Melony among other things), his new video's out that he's spent the past year or so working on. Here's his website, and there's a link to his movie on the home page - I'd seriously suggest checking it out, the detail he put into that thing is crazy and hopefully we'll see him come back to flash and Newgrounds some day soon.
always behind schedule.
