NY Meet up

I'm thinking very very tentatively the weekend of May 18-20... this weather is fucking crazy lately id like to think by end of may it wont be as fucking cold as it is now, what a shity spring break this was.

Is there any dates in May that are absolutely not doable for people? Im fairly flexible.

I think my buddy is having a memorial day party on the 19th that I'd like to go to, but if it comes down to party or meet up, I'll be in NY.

My sisters still in Hospital. The drugs she takes for her arthritis weaken here immune system, so she basically has a really, really bad flu. This week isn't getting better :(.

I don't think i can fly over to NY to meet a bunch of guys i know over the internet :P. But it sounds good, i have to go to one sometime :).

Agreed, I'd always be willing to go, but it just wouldn't happen, unless it was in Toronto and at some kind of convention wheres theres lots of people...

I do believe I will be in North Carolina from the 19-26. I need to verify with my friends as to when we're supposed to go.

Dude, it's like 28 degrees outside where I am. I mean, that is more with the wind chill but still. I hate how it's always windy where I am because I'm so close to the beach.

I hate how the beach I'm near is useless since the lake has been deemed, polluted to a point of no return. And its Lake Ontario, you can't swim in it, once people did, and the life guard like screemed at them to come out or they'd like die, and when they came out their whole body that was submerged beneath the water was covered in green muck, they had to get bio-hazardous waste management to come in and hose em down.

I get that, but more of a restless feeling. It's annoying feeling restless when there's nothing wrong, as if there is supposed to be something happening that's bad.

When I'm restless, I go to sleep. It tends to make my body feel better.

I get both. Sometimes at once. Like right now, lol. I'm waiting for my friend to get here but I don't even think he left. I hate when people don't reply to my text messages when I deem it important. I can't say it's that late, being 10 PM, and I have showed up to drink with this guy at like 11. So I'm pretty restless. Not sure about the depression though.

my guess is id stay at ny overnight.. and drive back at some point the next day. Last time I was in new york the hotel was 300 a night. which is typical but not really something i want to be spending for multiple days... i dont think its necessary anyway... the canada meetup was really just a matter of hours with the whole group and then at the end of that i sort of had people i got along well with gravitate with me and we ended up continuing at the hotel. and then i passed out and had drawings all over my arms and face and thats all i remember.

Seasonal depretion. I get it too, Basically your mood at times reflects the weather.

I think it has something to do with being very reliant on some chemical the suns gives your skin, and that effects your mood. (I was told lke 6 years ago), alot better than real depretion though, no pills or anything =D

I hate it when this stuff gets discussed, mostly because I live in Australia and it never happens here. I know there are general forum reg meet ups in Australia but never Flash forum, not that I'm a reg but I'd still enjoy going to one, it would be pretty cool. The only problem is all the Australian flash regs I can think of are like 14. =(

I dunno why but I'd probably never meet people in this thread in real life. Why? A couple reasons.

1) I don't know 99% of them well at all, nor talk to them regularly except for this thread,
2) Seeing them in person will most likely change how I look at them, and
3) I'm 15 :)

Shit. I definately don't have that sort of money. I mean, I live in PA, so if I got up early enough, I could make the drive in the morning, have fun, and maybe be home by 1 the next morning.
