RE:Flash Project's '07

I gues all I really need is inspiration to finish a project.
I have to finish at least two flash projects in Flash MX 2004 with a mouse at school since my media teacher won't allow me to animate form home.

I just hope I'm dedicated enough to actually complete something. All I usually have animation wise probably would be a few incomplete Head animation's or walking cycle's.

Unfinished stuuf like this for example.

Maybe one day I'll put a body to that head, then a background. Then keep going one step at a time.

I have nothing to do currently. No big projects or anything at the moment. So, is there a programmer with an idea in need of an artist? I have some ideas, too as well.

Game Pitch

Well, I do have a sidescroller idea that goes-a like this:

The overall game is sort of in the style of an old school fighting, adventure game(ever played Stinkoman? Its similar). Except the attack style would be like Super Smash Bros. Heres a basic overview of moves.

Arrows: Move
Space: Jump
Up Arrow: Climb ladders
Down Arrow: Duck
Control: Punch
Rapid Control: Combo
Down+Control: Duck attack.
Up+Control: Up Attack
Space+Control: Jump Kick
Space+Down+Control: Ground Stomp
Space+Up+Control: Air Attack
Shift: Special. (Power meter?)

As for levels, 3 levels per act and a boss after those levels. Maybe an autosave after beating an act. There would be probably be about 5 acts in the game, and maybe if its successful we can make a sequel or something with more acts.

So, how does this sound? If interested PM for more details and maybe to add/change things.

My website got hacked like 30 minutes ago! I've lost every file that I had on it. I have nothing left. I had a hand coded forum, a flash portal, 1200 forum posts, 20+ news posts & loads more files. All I was left with is index.html which is the same index as when I first started my site and a file called 'sorry vengeance' which reads:

I did not want this to happen.

It sounds fine but could be alot of work on your own half so you'd have to make sure you were really up for it. You would pretty much have to do all that list I posted above, ok, fine not a problem. But, you're going to have to do pretty much just as much for the enemies too, and what if you want more than one type of enemy? And what about backgrounds and props?

I've not played that game, but my friend had a came which sounds like it may of been like the crossover name for us English.. I don't remember the name of that, but you had to go around and fart on people and burp I think. I only saw it really quick and can hardly remember.

Yeah, i'm up to it. I just want to do a game project. As for backrounds, enemies, ect. thats why I said PM me for details. I don't feel like posting every little detail about it for everyone to see.

That must really suck. My website, logicstudios.co.uk, has took just a few hours to get up and running but i know how i would feel if it got hacked. Not only would it suck because of the work lost but also i have the feeling if i re-do it all the coding and stuff and spend hours of work on it there is the chance that i could be hacked again and lose it all over again. It is good too here you have got it all back though.
