THE PAYMENT SYSTEM'S DONE! Heil Joe! That was a huge pain in the ass...
Also, I'd like to recall that post, the second reply in this topic.
He's right, you know...

Heh we already commented on that a few pages back. I think Luis has flashbacks every time he sees me post.
Now get a life
This "life" problem is a lengthy discussion.
There's no right way to live. Every person decides that for one's self.
Before and after. What do you guys think, because Xelu (and me) wants to know.

I think the stupid face that Xelu is making ruins it, so I would stick with the before.

You've got a cool life, don't let some dumb kid tell you what constitutes a "life" ;)
I've reread the first post of this Reg thread, and now I realized that right now we aren't discussing anything related to the Flash scene.
Egg's talking about his youtube channel and some coding definitely not on ActionScript.
MSGhero's not discussing anything, just complaining about his life or whatever from time to time
Random old&famous newgrounders periodically post news about their projects (just post, not even ask for anyone's opinion).
How is this a discussion of Flash scene? The thread is not living up to its initial purpose, defined by Luis.
Last time you discussed something useful, I think, it was sorting algorithms. But then again, it's not related to the Flash scene.
I could take off my pants and flash you, if you'd like. Flashy flashy.
2130 pages of only talking about flash would be dreadful. We talked about this too before, whether it's a flash-reg lounge or a flash reg-lounge.
In other news, I think I got the uploader, downloader, and launcher - for the most part - done. Still a couple lines of code to put in and some testing to be done, but it all should work. Maybe. Hopefully.

I need to find more things to tell omar to add to the game and level editor, so hop to it.
My C/asm/etc class started today. The prof told someone to buy a lighter and next time wave it back and forth (like at a concert) to signal the class's halftime break. And hw isn't technically due till the last day of class. So it looks like it'll be fun.
textbooks tho, $170 for an econ ebook rental wtf

Hah, already beat you to it. The uploader and downloader doesn't care how many files are there or what they are, they just get done.
hashes ftw, I think. Also hooray for C#. I can be fairly inefficient without much of a performance hit, especially with console apps.
I got lazy with a small portion of code relating to checking hashes to find files to download >.>

And I just stay here and argue about how confusing this thing works. It's "supposed to" be linked to the download page I'm currently working on, and I have completely no idea how this is going to be done. I'm still convinced that having the whole thing at a web page makes quite more sense.
Plus that it looks like there won't be an official Linux version released. I got it working here, native, and I'm insisting on making a topic in the community to explain how to get it running on Ubuntu. :C
On the other hand,

To be fair, none of us except zelu really have any idea how this is going to work. Which is why I made the downloader flexible. The only thing it can't do right now is send extra POST information or headers.
It can download from HTTP, FTP, and SFTP with user/pass credentials. Yeah, i'm a badass xD

Tom told me they were gonna add attaching newsposts (pre/at release and post mortem) to submissions, so a big gamedev update to the forums might be inc as well.
or start a new thread

C# my ass. Be hardcore, dude. Use C!
FYI, the number of lines of code written for the website, excluding all external libraries, is 3700+ lines. According to Omar, that's 2.5 times the number of lines written for Concerned Joe's flash version.
Ooh, shiny new Chrome feature.
Can you guess which tab is currently playing music?

I'm on beta chrome, so I've been seeing that for a while now. Get with the times.

I use Chrome for everything on a daily basis, I can't have a potentially-unstable build :(
I've also been streaming all my work on the launcher on Twitch along with some games if anyone wants to come say hi.

Am I the only one with slow internet connection here?...

My uni is right next to an isp server or something, so we have pretty fast internet. And our wifi is 2nd fastest in the US, though it goes out way too often.

It appears and disappears as fast and suddenly as it is.

I hate you. My internet connection is around 0.4~0.5 Mbps. Seriously. Sending a USB Flash drive with a pigeon holding the data is faster than download it with that speed.

25/5 which is pretty middle-of-the-road.
I wish our upload was faster though, it sucks not being able to stream at 1080p60 and it takes several hours to upload a YouTube video :(
