Anybody know where I can get a trial download of CS3? And no, NOT CS4, NOT CS5, I just need CS3. Can't seem to find a download for it anywhere..

I love snow!
(because it snows only once or twice a year at best in this region)
#include <stdio.h>
char*p="#include <stdio.h>%cchar*p=%c%s%c;%cmain() {printf(p,10,34,p,34,10);}";
main() {printf(p,10,34,p,34,10);}

It's here but the sun moves away this time of year. It grows sad and it's heart gets cold and we a re left with an unwelcome summer. And that is why we have Autumn/Winter.

That's excluding delays.Are you for real. At the two month mark you should have triggered the failsafe implode you hid in the game file.
It didn't happen to me personally, but I've seen it in action. You can't even trigger any fail safe, they have a big contract that you sign before handing over the game that the payment will reach you in 60 to 90 days.
It's just the way those big companies work since they have a separate financial department and whatnot.

You don't download a trial. You download the complete version and activate it as trial.

Suddenly everything makes more sense. I feel stupid.
Hopefully Duder earns something off this:

knowledge in school does not give me a lot by working and interacting with friends on the forum

school is about learning to learn quickly so when you get into the work place you can learn on your own. i don't think anyone expects you to remember anything from school unless its like medical or engineering stuff (especially general education courses)

I've been thinking about that lately and I realized that, if anyone really learned and remembered everything he was taught in school, he'd be like a super capable human being.
Imagine someone who excels at maths, generally. Who is also knowledgeable in the different sciences, biology, chemistry, physics etc.. Who also has a lot of knowledge about all the countries of the world, and can also tell you the history of the world from the stone age up to the modern day in detail. Not only that, but he's also skilled in art and is fluent in different languages. He's also a very fit, athletic man.
Really..is there anybody like that? It's possible right? You just need to try and excel at all the subjects you take in school, right?
I mean that guy could then go off and do a lot in his life. I remember the earlier scientists and inventors worked in many different fields.
...I think I rambled a bit too much here.
I swear to God I'm never going to work with any Flash tools by Adobe as soon as I finish my next project.. Good God I hate working with these tools.
Thank God for FlashDevelop and Flex.

Oh damn.
I need to decide what to apply for soon, and so many people in here have complained about taking programming courses that I'm getting rather afraid.

Retaining all information is an incredibly rare ability, so you wouldn't see many people with it simply as a 'gift'. Following this, they may choose to devote their time to specific subjects on grounds of interest or similar, so would be not much more able than any other master of the field. Plus, these kinds of people may be alienated somewhat by either their incredible ability or some sort of social disability, so may never have the chance.
As for those without such an ability, but instead the dedication to revise until everything they need to know is imprinted, they have a tough time on their hands. Between juggling learning, sport and other extra-curricular activities, they would have little to no time for winding down; that would drive a person to insanity. I was going to give an example of someone I knew and know who was very much like that for several years, but I feel somewhat bad talking about tough moments in a friend's life, even if they are left anonymous. Either way, take my word for it that I'm not just talking out of my ass.

Argh thats the most annoying thing in the world. I just let my fury out on the error report form, I'd love to see a list of the messages from angry devs who have lost work to Flash's crashing!

After flash crashed for the second time I not hit Ctrl+S every 2 seconds. I've never lost anything since :)

FLAs also get corrupted.

This is a sad truth. I cringe in horror when I attempt to test a SWF and the "Exporting Movie..." box vanishes without displaying the SWF.
I'm using attachMovie in AS2 to create the game environment. If I convert the shape inside the movieclips I'm attaching to a movieclip and cache that as bitmap will it still apply to the parent movieclip?
