I know. It's pathetic. I need to finish something soon though, because I'm having trouble supporting my bohemian lifestyle. If only I had a more manly beard, I could do one of those cliché no-shaving things.

even if you dont you can still do a no shaving thing, it just gets freaking itchy for like 2 months, but after that you have a ...passable... beard which makes 2 of the parties at GDC not bother checking ID on you

I dont even know man.
I went to update when I was testing Glaiels engine and since then it seems to not work, even though it didnt have a Chrome specific download, I chose the "Other Browsers" one.
Glaiels game didnt think I had updated, just gave me the same text telling me what player version I had so I dunno what the fuck is going on.

Been totally wanting to build myself one too once I get out of this blasted apartment. I think I'm going to put a flat-panel hooked up to a PC with key-mapped emulations on it so it's expandable.
Btw: Ridged slide compound miter in the back?

I give up :(!
I spent like an hour putting together a story board for my Robot Day submissions and Flash crashed on me.
I had about a minute of story board, pretty wlel planned out. Synced with the music took some time but it looked good :(

Ctrl+S every 40 seconds like a bad habit ftw.

Watching Anchorman for like the 5th time.
Love this film :)
Leo & Satan II may have set a new NG record from going from 'Under Judgment', to front page top slot. Don't get me wrong. It's hilarious, Oney is a seriously talented artist, and I 5'd it up accordingly.
Still, I watched it, this morning go from purple, deep in the UJ queue, to instant number one. Neat trick.

the intro was better than the actual movie :X but both are still sweet!

Ctrl+S several times every five seconds just to make GODDAMN sure I saved it right.

Well I just redid the story board but a shit ton better.
Also I was planning on ordering the NG poster, until I realised the 1 to 2 weeks shipping was more than the poster itself.
Fucking gayzz
Yet even with all of those Ctrl+S's, there is still something in the back of my mind paranoid that my hard drive will blow up at any moment.
#include <stdio.h>
char*p="#include <stdio.h>%cchar*p=%c%s%c;%cmain() {printf(p,10,34,p,34,10);}";
main() {printf(p,10,34,p,34,10);}

Buy an external hard drive ;)
Oh wait, mine formatted itself. OH SHIT.
Am I the only one who thinks the Flash forum has got a shit less active since Animating got its own?

Ehhh, far too lazy for that kind of sophistication. I'll take my chances.
#include <stdio.h>
char*p="#include <stdio.h>%cchar*p=%c%s%c;%cmain() {printf(p,10,34,p,34,10);}";
main() {printf(p,10,34,p,34,10);}

At least it got rid of the rabble. Unfortunately, I think thats what 95% of our crowd consisted of. I also see less regs around. Just all you programmin nerdss.

Apart from I'm an artist :(
But I also code a bit so it's cool ;D
Flash in a general term was nice. I think it was split for 50/50 cause the animating forum isn't /that/ active either.
Be nicer if it was back again, animating with other kind of programs has it's separate forum, while animating in Flash uses the flash forum.
Otherwise it might aswell be called the Actionscript forum.
At 6/2/10 01:29 AM, Sam wrote: Otherwise it might aswell be called the Actionscript forum.
nah it's a software based forum whereas the other one is more technique based
also it's hard to jump in to any conversations about haxe when all i do is draw and animate and hardly code at all
At 6/2/10 01:29 AM, Sam wrote: Otherwise it might aswell be called the Actionscript forum.
True, but it also covers technical aspects of Flash as well, such as exporting and discussing the different versions of Flash and whatnot. Anything thats not directly drawing or animating.
Since the collab forum no-one comes here anymore. :(
The Flash forum is dying and while it's no one's fault, I'm pretty sure Luis is to blame.

Because he's a fake mexican ofcourse.
hahaha, an auto-generated UML diagram of my physics engine :P

You're an idiot. AS3 and haXe apparently don't have any methods or design features that actually help you finish projects.
