I came back to this topic and noticed it and didn't get it, until I realized that they have finally come up with a good solution to the super amount of pages people can't catch up on in a day. Well I'm really super uber proud of blockslide 2. Too bad it's not done. Almost reaching the 1 year mark for time spent procrastinating since the project started last.... march? Just a few months more to go! HORAY!

I'm not part of it but I really like the YouTube community. There's this one guy who's videos I watch from time to time called 'Nuoidai'. I'm not sure how I found him, I think he PMed me on there, and so I just signed up for his vids.

I really like how they have this net of loads of people responding to a video of his, even with video responses, which could then spur another response etc.

When you go there it looks quite lame, but I find it intresting. Not so much just what he's on about just that he has these vast opinions and how he talks about them. Above all he's got a funny accent.

New years resolution / Year roundup

Well, i'm not to sure what to say. I was gunna say 'Nothing special flash wise' but that'd be wrong. For example this year i've done stuff with Luis & Frosty. I'm a little too tired right now. Just got in from the pub, not that i've been drinking (went to see mates band).

I think my new years resolution should be to just get shit finished and keep at it. I have stuff lying around that I really like but just don't bother and I don't know why. I think I just have this underlying feeling in my head that it's just easy stuff, like the boring stuff.

Halloween Reprisal. FTW, the game took ages to finish, and Rammer was hitting me with his belt to get me to work -_-; I was disappointed at the score, but my skills really improved, so its' a win.

I've never finished a full length flash. I usually just make little GIFs that I find amusement out of. As far as those go this one is probably my proudest. I made it so large that it was bigger then my screen resolution(1124x768) and the full sized GIF actually lags a bit when you first open it, lol. It may not be the most accurate bomb explosion but it holds a place in my heart. I hope to have something more impressive to be proud of by the new year.

I think I'm proud of everyone whos been in this thread for as long as it has.. I may bitch and moan and give you guys a hard time but i really love the community that has been built through this reg lounge thing. I think that next month we'll revert back to the old regular way of posting.. i think that people have really stepped up and made an effort and showed they care about the thread so it'll be optional starting next month to do the bold thing. Just wanted to regain control of things and sort have everyone come to terms with the thread.

So yeah thanks to everyone who made this feel like a family and made me feel like the grumpy dad.

Why GIFs Over SWFs

GIFs can be posted on the forums in they are small enough. Or sent through AIM without a final transfer so they show up in the IM, as long as no one uses Triton. Besides, the file size is smaller. I have swfs for many of my GIFs, well I did until my hard drive was erased. Either way. If they were more than a few seconds long I would definitely show them off as swf files. Some of the GIFs and JPGs that were lost when my hard drive was erased are still on Newgrounds. I could find them by going through my thousands of posts if I wanted to. Some were preserved on my out of date website.

vodka+redbull isn't a good drink. The problem with it is that in different places it tastes very differently. For example in one bar I'm at a lot it's 3 shots of vodka with a little bit of XI (redbull clone in case you don't know), in another it's one shot and a whole bottle of XL (another redbull clone)

Anyhow, I only had 3 drinks of johnny black, because I just wanted to drink something tasty and not actually get drunk.

Also, I'm into wine lately, odd :)

In the Works (a club we go to) the vdka redbull is class, as it's equal parts vodka/ redbull. The glass is so such a size that you can neck it.
