That's a pretty decent little loop, especially for his age. I'd definitely like to see more from him.

Two artists that have really caught my eye are Icandraw and windowskiller. They may not be the best artists right now, but I see these two everywhere trying to start and join all kinds of projects. Despite the fact that many people have been rude to them or insulted their artistic ability, they keep working at it and I like that. I'm really looking forward to what these guys do in a few years.

Beyond that, I actually give windowskiller mad props. He started browsing and posting here as one of those annoying "producers" or "writers" that don't own the program and try to get other people to bring his ideas to life.

He had the drive to actually get the program and learn how to use it.

I'm looking for a certain flash but i cannot remember the name of it. I think i saw it here on newground once but im really not sure:S
Here's what happens in it: Some guy with white hair (if i recall) goes down to asubway and get ambushed by some matrix type agents. There is alot of fighting with both guns and swords, and at one point you see a neck break in some x-ray-ish view. It's verry well animated if i recall:)

That's like, on of the most famous animations on the wubs, I remember it had some controversy surrounding it, can't remember what that was about though. One of the first Flash animations I recall seeing, along with the stop crying your heart out collab thing.

meh, those kind of comments are natural because we as humans always paint a fairytale painting of memories and the past. Near the end of every year there is always a few people who comment that the reg lounge is going to shit or that all teh good people left or whatever. When in reality its not really going anywhere, and this so called golden age never really existed.

I think the one thing i dont like about ng is that its not as agile as it should be. We lost out on being first to the punch on alot of things. Part of that is because its such a small team and probably other part is that everything is meticulously done by hand, whereas other companies will subcontract India dev's to quickly get the framework up and ready and be able to launch major things with speed to market. The internet is a brutal cut throat place. If you arent acting on your vision chances are someone is already figuring out and acting upon it right that minute. Its frusterating and a natural challenge that comes with the business though.

As far as money goes, it DID change the scene quite alot. I dont need to tell you gaiz that back in the day of flash, almost nobody actually made money from animating/making games. So like fast forward a couple years, where its big business now and it naturally is going to change the scene and youll naturally have people just interested in making a buck and bitter oldies who think they are being robbed of that buck.

no I don't think he's a douche, I'm just saying what people complain about. But the ads don't really bother me that much. They provide light reading material, they pay for the site, and they're only on the side and don't pop out or expand like on othre websites.
