Fosters is becomming more and more my favorite lager. I generally just drink whichever lager has the best deals on in sainsburys which is generally mainly stella and carling, but I've gone right off stella after one week of intense drinking where I got through over 3 crates in 6 days.

When I buy drinks at clubs, i usually just go for fosters/carling though for cheapness. My only rule for alcohol is that it shouldn't be sweet. Alcohol was meant to be hops flavoured! None of this vodka and mixer or cider malarky! Hops all the way!!! (However, lack of money/really cheap drink is a valid excuse for drinking a non-hops flavoured drink).

I'm not a fan of Carlsberg. Not enough flavour, it tastes like someones taken export and diluted it loads, which now I think about it, thats probably what it is.

And yet you can bear to drink the liquid shit that is, Fosters? Urgh, the last time I got a pint of fosters I couldn't even bear to get half way through it before handing it away and getting something that doesn't make me want to vomit :P Fosters is rank man, if you don't have the money to buy nicer lager, just don't drink :P

4 pack of the nicest stuff you can find, and then a crate of the cheapest lager is the way to go, it all tastes the same by that point, i aint made of money.

Heh, out here Fosters is probably the most popular lager on tap. It's ok, I can manage a whole pint before giving up. I think Budweiser is the only lager I can usually drink several of :p

Appletini.

That drink shall forever be synonymous with J.D. from Scrubs in my mind >: 3

Fosters is just far too gassy, a single can, or a single pint, and i'll be burping atleast 20 odd times

Fosters is just too tasteless, or rather, it doesn't taste near enough like beer, it just tastes chemically and metally

Fosters makes my stomach churn all in all :P Fosters is one of them drinks that if i have to drink it, i will certainly NOT savour the experiance, i will be drinking it trying not to let it touch my tongue so i won't have to taste it, then gag on the after taste coming up from throat, and clutch my stomach from the stupid amount of gas it gives you in your stomach.

I drink several pints of milk a day, at least 2-3. My family gets through about 36 pints a week :D

Alcoholic: straight vodka. I don't see why everyone complains about it's taste so much, it's better than beer imo.

My weird drinking preferences aside..
Old consoles

Yesterday I re-set up my old SNES. Playing mario and B.O.B. made me happy :D And then afterwards I had a serious craving to play Harry Potter 1 on PS1 (best game created, ever), but the disc was too scratched up for my PS1, so now I'm scouring the intertube for a half decent playstation emulator (any recomendations?).

Old Consoles

For my birthday, my girlfriend bought me conkers bad fur day and a working n64 controller, and i finished playing through that a few days ago, aswell as having been playing through goldeneye again (currently stuck on Statue on double-o difficulty), and have just bought majora's mask for £13 (about same price as it is on Wii virtual console, but playing it on N64 is more nostalgic :P)

Depends what kind. Smirnoff tastes of plastic IMO - I can only stand it if it's heavilly diluted in some fruit juice :/

It's the only drink I've ever had an evening black out after :p The whole 'they wouldn't sell it in 3L bottles if it wasn't safe to finish one in under an hour' logic wasn't all that well though through.

OLD CONSOLES

well I have a neighbor who just completely gave up his whole snes and n64 collection and systems to me. I recently finished playing one of the best platformers ever, Rocket: robot on wheels. I think I am near the end of perfect dark. I also finished banjo tooie several weeks ago and am about 1/4th in with banjo kazooie, I think. I started to play mario 64 and I realized it was a bit overated. Same with ocarina of time.

and I almost finished chrono trigger on the snes. I also got into kirby's dream land 3 and kirby super star. I beat arcanoid, but just barely. I have yet to touch the rest of the games.

and does a 95 windows computer count as an old system?

DRINKS

um.... juice?

Fun fact: 3L @ 7.5% = 22.5 units, weekly recommend units = 21 - 28.

My Friend is letting me borrow his snes and I've been playing earthbound like crazy along with harvest moon. He even let me borrow an nes zapper for duck hunt.

Old Consoles
From age 8 to 18 I was not allowed to have video games in the house, so starting in college I've been working my way up from the NES (which my dad owned before it went in the closet and never came out).

I've gotten through most the SNES and Genesis games I wanted to play and now I'm on PS1, PS2, and N64 games. Those early 3D games look like rubbish and are nearly unplayable. Whip out a copy of Mario Kart 64 and see for yourself. Finished Metal Gear Solid and am now on Final Fantasy Seven.

woah woah woah woah schwa?

From like ages 6 to 11 I wasn't allowed to play games/watch tv/use the computer for non-school purposes during weekdays and could only do any combination of those for 2 hours a day during fri/sat/sun and even then I still had to do all homework and practice playing the piano before I could touch them.

Know how I got my parents to lift that rule? I got my mom addicted to Animal Crossing.

Did you play Ocarina of Time? Majora's Mask? MM Isn't one of my favorites but its still worth the play. How about Donkey Kong 64? Another good one.

MM is quite awesome. I need to try it again sometime. I quit at the spot where someone was like "bring be 45 glasses of moomoo milk and 20 deku nuts and 14 deku sticks, a paperclip, a rubber band, and a pencil"

As I mentioned a while back my 360 broke down so I'm playing FF7 now as well, this is either my third or fourth playthrough :) If I finish it before my Xbox comes back from repairs (kinda doubt it though as I'm trying to get as much out of the game as I can) I will probably get on MGS next.

Metal Gear solid 3 is my favourite from the series. Best bosses (except Psycho mantis), best music, best story, best looking, best plot etc etc. Plus what other game lets you eat gone off crocodile meat?

Okay, one exception: I could bring my Game Gear on car trips. Speaking of which, my Game Gear still works, just turned it on a few nights ago to see if I could play Columns.
