Back to the fantastic one line posts, I see.

Any of you guys got tips on how to get motivated to finish off games? I code the main part of the engine by working really hard at it. Spending hours and hours on it. Then I leave it for a day or 2, come back to it and I see that I've only got a few small things to do and I totally lose motivation. It's really annoying.

I have the same problem - I type a 200 lines engine in 10 minutes and then I never touch it again. I'm not sure if I'm the right person to take advices from, but I find it easier when you're working on a project that you are truly excited about - something you want to do because you like it, not because your artist had an idea and even though you semi-like the idea you still work on it. I've been working on a project for weeks without even telling anyone about it, because it's not something I started for sponsorship money or for fame, just because it's an engine I was curious about. Even though I only worked on that project 1 or 2 days per week, for less than an hour sometimes, I didn't stop working on it.

So yea. Listen to your heart, not to the artist :p

Personally, for those regs that i have on msn i see as more of friends than just acquaintances, as i talk to them more than I do on here.

A few of the people here I have met irl at the london meets. Them I consider friends. A few other people from NG I would consider online friends. Mostof the people Ive met in London dont post on here much though. The only people Ive seen recently are Luis, Kayn and Liaaaam (how many A's is it?)
Without meeting people I find it hard to remember who they are online. You might even have a conversation with someone and then just totally forget. I think having a memorable sig that stays the same helps people remember you.
