hey guys, just curious, but what is the most extensive piece of code that can be summed up in two or three lines.
for example:
code
code
code
code
code
code
code
code
could be summed up into
code
code

What a stupid question. You could make pretty much any code infinite lines long unless I'm not understanding you correctly. Elaborate?

The octo-mom might be getting her own tv show and I ask.... why. Why the fuck does she deserve a tv show?

Look at the success of Jon and Kate plus Eight. Lots of kids, hijinks ensue and it makes formidable tv (heck I find it entertaining even). It completely helps that she gets a head start with a complete media spectacle. Media spectacles draw audiences, audiences draw advertisers.
Hi there!

What would getting your own tv show possibly have to do with deserving your own tv show? ...is a better question
iPod Apps
I know glaiel has messed around with this sort of thing before, and it's definitley a good transition from flash to iPod, so i am gonna give it a shot. The figures of some peoples apps are amazing, one person sold 700,000 copies in just 3 months, giving him personally a profit of ~= $6,300,000, so it's worth looking into if you've got an touch and a mac.
Anyone else done anything with em?

Yeah, but most people have something about them atleast, she is just a mom, that's it. I do agree though, about 50% of TV is undeserving shite. Ashes to Ashes is on again soon though, so that's a positive.
Also, lawrence fishburne is actually very good in CSI, whadya know.

I wasn't sad until I googled his name and realised that he wrote plenty of the books that I read when I was younger.

Damn it! And BritishMoose got it last year ! Another opportunity missed.
Speaking of opportunities, have you bought your official BoMToons Logo T Shirt yet?

Ha ha, that would be ironic.
Nice pic JMTB, that cycling pic I drew really lends a lot to the package doesn't it?!

I can totally visualise ordering a double Capt. Moroni and coke.

I know a Nathan Price, is there any chance you're from Leeds? ;)
Also, the Bomtoons shirt looks awesome. If I had more disposable income I'd totally be in the business of buying internet t-shirts (I only have 1, a NG one, at the moment) and I'd snap that shiz up, daw'g.

Or = != == and == != === but == = === more than = == == :p
= != == != === && == != ===; == = === > = == ==
To be fare it's not really a noob problem. I've only just stopped ballsing it up on a semi-regular basis, and that's what, just shy of four years of coding?
The AS3 compiler isn't really friendly to barely noticable typos. The best help you get is 'have fun searching through this big ass function untill you find the cap you missed out!' :(
ya so i got twitter too. twitter.com/fluffkomix
also i was having dinner in an italian restaurant in mexico and i was being waited on by a mexican chap named Luis.
well luis? are you ready to admit that during your spare time you serve people in a mexican italian restaurant?

Though I've never bothered using === in any circumstance. I'm sure there's some perfectly reasonable uses, and it's probably quite a bit faster than == (since there's no type check / conversion).. but since I know my types are gonna be the same and I'm not really bothered about that tiny performance increase.. I don't bother.

Yeah I still do it every so often too. I'm never close brackets properly, I'm always doing stuff like if(a.hitTest(b). It's just lazy typing =P

I find the AS3 complier damn annoying. It always seems to tell me that function X has an error, but it doesn't tell me what line the error is on. Damn annoying!
