Digg is pretty broken.

AG, Kong, and bunch of other game sites use to be really Digg competitive since Digg drives a lot of traffic. It used to be difficult but not impossible to get Flash content dugg with a few friends and website fans digging an article. But when they switched up the site with the recommendation engine / different algorithm the smaller users got buried and suddenly we couldn't digg content any longer... neither could the big sites. It now comes down to whether a power Digg user finds our content and submits it.

A few months ago we had a game reach nearly 150 diggs in 24 hours... never got popular. So I'm interested in seeing if Tom can pull it off, it's near impossible these days.

Especially for a first.

Only criticisms I have is the eye doesn't look like it should, imo, and that the neck (particually on the left) flows too much into the head if you know what I mean. Doesn't look that much like the head is in front of the neck (maybe add shadow under the chin etc). I dunno I'm not an artist. But I like it :)

Looking good! It's hard to stray away from your general style though, isn't it?

My main concern is the bridge of the nose (the part between the eyes) It is far to wide compared to the figured head and the size of his eyes. It should be pretty fixable, just kill some of that shadow and roll the eye a big closer to it.

I love the shading around the bottom of the nose and the upper lip. Nice job with that.

Painting in photoshop is not very easy, it takes a lot of getting used to. I should try my hand at it again sometime soon.

Keep it up though, I can't wait to see it when you've completely more!

Oh goodness moving parts is so annoying :p but yeah i'll try that! Also i'll work on the nose. same with the neck thing. That bugged me before too just i didn't know how to fix it.

Also, yeah it is hard to do something other than my normal style. I've made PS'ed pictures before but they always turned out much more cartooney and like the lineart. With this one im challenging myself to delete the lineart as i go.

Well it could always be reported to Tom or someone and if necessary they could take their mod powers away if they feel necessary. Plus, they kinda have to prove that they're not going to be like to be made a mod.

Hate to burst anyones bubble, but the world is never going to be fair.
To be honest even in this lounge alot of people are able to get away with shit that most other users might have been banned for. Thats not to say this is a safe haven, but rather that mods have different modding styles... some are brutal some are pansies (im more of the pansy type, id say a notch below jmtb lmao) but yeah the point is that as much as we like to think for things to be fair, some mods just have a bit more leeway.

Personally i think that if my gut or the persons user history is that of a mostly good user, i will usually look the other way if youre having 'one of those days'...

Btw Kirk we can ban affiliates. Didnt know if you ever got that memo.
