Meh, from a social point of view university isn't as exciting as high school, that's what I think anyway. That's probably caused by the fact that I spent 4 hours a week on campus on average so I don't get to meet people as much as I did in high school. There's also a serious lack of girls in my study >:(... Year two starts next thursday for me.

I also finally got myself a nice full-HD tv, I realize now what I've been missing out on since I've bought my PS3 last year...

Friends
I'm past the point of caring about friends. I'm too old to have too many - I have a hundred odd acquaintences. A tonne of people from the Games Workshop in Derby, the crowd at the Regs Meet and people from the net, people I associated with at Uni and some carry overs from High School... Friends though? Ten from each group maybe? After that point the monkeysphere kinda bubbles out...

I have 3 groups of friends. First being ones from school. 2 groups are from school of about 3 and the other of about 7, seeing as I didn't like my school much. But going to college with most of those and hopefully meet new people.

The final group is a group of girls from an all girls school I know. This group consists of all my closest friends :3

I know what you mean, although there's always someone in my classes who i know well, so it's not such a big problem as it is for you toasty. I'm not the kind of person who makes friends spontaneously either, i don't particularily want to meet more mates, i'd rather have a few very good friends, and some who i know, talk to, work with etc, but not the kind of people i'd talk to once i move to sixth form.

Luckily for me I go to a mixed school where people queue up to be my friend. (Not literally but theres a few who follow me around annoyingly.) I usually just hang around with about 4 friends during school however outside of school I hang around with loads of different people (chavs, geeks, in betweens, sluts) but I avoid all emo's and similar kind of people.

My first day of school was alright but my quite good looking English teacher has been replaced by a fat woman who made my and a few other people sit at the front FOR sitting at the back originally. But yeah apart from that it wasn't bad.

I also got called a pervert and slapped by 3 different girls on 3 different occassions for 3 different reasons. I won't go into those.

That post mumbled on for a while :S

Friends are like the fruit of life man! The best times you have in the world are always with your friends. I like to make friends with as many people as possible, obviously I have closer friends and such which I spend most of my time with, but everyone I meet and im friendly too, I dont see why you wouldnt be!

I have gone through quite a few "sets" of friends but I always try to keep in touch with everyone, if i fall out of touch with someone ill try to see them or have a pint with them whenever I can.

Maybe its just me but friends are really important, if I dont see friends for a few days and sit at home alone for too long I get well depressed and mopey!

this is going to sound really nerdy but some of the "best moments" i've had with friends were on the internet / in world of warcraft... Yea i know, sounds like i got no life, but it's not true that e-friends are not real friends. well it's true up to some extent, but you can have a great time with e-friends too. also, from my personal experience it's easier to find people on the internet with better sense of humor, or maybe it's just because those french cunts are so boring.

Everyone seems to be going back tomorrow, with the exception of some of my friends who started sixth form at their school today. I don't start college until friday which is just a general introduction type thing, get our timetables, go to one lesson of each subject to just get the general feel and shit then start for real on the monday, normal timetable.

College should be good though. Firstly, only have to do subjects I actually enjoy. Secondly, loads of new people. A lot of them are the sort of people I get on well with so should be alright and can make some new friends. And finally, college is near my friends school so I'll be able to see them a lot more than I used to. On the down side, I've gotta start doing work again :C

I started school today but that was an inset thing. The rest of my school and all the other schools are going back tomorrow.
