70 pages since I last checked, gawd.
So what are we talking about now? Movies?
I just saw Mission Impossible the other day on DVD, and it was pretty good, really cliche'd and hollywood, but good nontheless. Some parts were just too fictious and unreal for me though. I love all these cop/detective/spy movies, because even if the story reeks or the acting is cheesy, you're garunteed atleast one good action scene.
Knox's new amazing movie Villian is here:

Seriously though, he looks 'wierd'.
That's because you usually see him wearing a normal t-shirt while here he is wearing a turtle-neck. I'm not sure what type of pants he wears often because you rarely see pictures of him below the waste, I think he's a jeans person...

Lol, I remember that video but this would be funny if Tom or Stamper came in...
Back to the movies topic...
Currently in my profile I've put down:
Serenity
- Because Whedon's writing is exceptional. I enjoyed Speed without even knowing he did a ghost re-write of it, and eventually I even got around to enjoying the odd episode of Buffy and Angel I saw. I saw Serenity before I saw Firefly, yet got pretty prepared for what to expect from it by friends who loved the cancelled sci-fi series. Made for a nice break from the Star Wars hype that grew half a year before it by being grittier, better written and having better fight scenes.
Spirited Away
- I've not seen anything else by Miyazaki. I'm terrible, I know. Beautiful film though.
Pulp Fiction
- I think someone posted the "dead n... storage" line. But every line of that film is perfectly crafted for maximum theatrical effect. Even the lines that serve no purpose for the film other than to build character do it better in fewer words than other films can. The overriding theme of redemption is perfectly portrayed by the violence and great acting. Similar thing for Kill Bill 1 and 2 (not a huge fan of how Tarintino split them up like that - seems like 1 got too much violence and not enough plot, and 2 got the reverse)
Sin City
- Fits well with Pulp actually. Similar theme - lots of violence, a few different stories collected together interacting with each other occasionally. Stylisitically captures the comic book feel than any of the recent Marvel films.
The Matrix
- Yes. I liked the second and third films too. If you overanalyse the plot it falls apart and gives you too many philosophical questions to answer, or you could just enjoy the martial arts choreography (first and second films), special effects, and soundtrack.
Team America
- I'm a fan of Parker and Stone, about five years too late to be cool. I've not seen Orgasmo, but Basketball made me crack up the first time I saw it. Never been a fan of the original few series of South Park, but recently the politcal satire has got me laughing now that I'm old enough to appreciate it. TA is just laugh out loud funny in places (admittedly mainly because they're marionette puppets), and at times almost makes you think.

Good list, i like all those films :). Spirited away is a great film, the others by him are great to, I'd recommend them :P.

I've kept meaning to watch Mononoke and Kiki. But never got around to it.
Oh. News from me:
I've got a job interview on Thursday at a web design company in Derby (wish me luck...), and I got two numbers and the lucky stars on Euromillions Lottery - so I spent the £20 on the new(ish) Chilli Peppers and DragonForce CDs...
Never enjoyed the ChilliPeppers as much as I do now that they managed to cram 28 fairly decent tracks on two CDs

Serenity
I saw it in the cinema a while back. It's a great film. The script is really good, it's funny without being silly and it generally makes a nice break from the straight-forward sci-fi and fantasy films we're used to.
Spirited Away
Need to see that...
Pulp Fiction
Yeah, that's an awesome film. It's probably not cool to be enthusiastic about something which is already considered to be such a good film, but whatever. The timing is perfect, and the writing again is just brillinat.
Sin City
I need to see that too :(
The Matrix
Meh, I'm not a big fan. The first film was great (apart from all the pseudo-philosophy, but even that wasn't as appaling as in the others), but save a few really good action scenes the last two were just average at best.
I'm pissed off at the way they did the last fight in the third film. You havr an abandoned city full of drones who are all out to get this one guy, or just watch. There was rain; a storm; dark buidings, and they still made it suck. They could have had a lot of atmospheric shots and moves, but no; they just start hitting each other. And flying.
srsly, what is up with that?
Team America
I need to see that too :S
Has anyone here seen Park Chan-Wook's revenge trilogy? I'm in love with Old Boy - that side scrolling fight scene has to be one of the best in film history. Sympathy for Mr Vengeance is a really good film too, especially considering the steadiness with which it just grows darker and darker for the first half. I don't think I really got Lagy Vengeance, but I'll probably pick up some stuff I missed if I watch it again.
That new movie Babel is definitely worth watching also (From the director of 21 grams). It's about how simple miscommunication & stereotyping can result in terrible situations. It consists of 3 different storylines in 3 different continents that are still somehow connected. Really well done

for all you english people out there, is the £ button in the same spot on your keyboard as our $ button? I've been curious about it, dont ask why ($ = shift + 7)

Sounds good, what comapny is it? Good luck with it :). Speaking of Jobs, last week I got my work experience for year 10 sorted. I'll be working at Codemasters UK for two weeks :D. Yay. It's a dream for me, I've always wanted to work for a games company, and some experience will greatly help. For people who don't know who they are, they made Second Sight, The Original and Other Worms, Sensible Soccer and LMA Manager :).
On that subject, does anyone know what they will be doing/have done for work experience?
Sorry for bragging, i'll shut up :(.

Nope, the $ sign is SHIFT+4, and £ is SHIFT+3. What you said would make sense though, lol.

Naturally, me gI ving O ut the name of a web desiG n company I'm trying to gE t a job for would probably end up jeopardisiNg my chances of getting in. So I'll hide it's name in a passage of text, and tell you to add .co.uk to it's name to see thier site.
Lol... Racing Frog flash games...

Not if I get more numbers than you.
The albums' a nice listen whilst I create textures in PS, although having to switch discs to listen to "Tell me Baby" after "Snow" will get annoying before I find room to rip them to my hard drive.

Yeah, it was luck really. My mum knows a lawyer, who works for code masters, who is a mate with the head Producer, who said he would give me a try for work experience, yay :).
