When you save it you might have to go save-as and select a flash mx doc, (i know u have to do that for flash cs3 to 8, im not sure if it does that here)

Pretty sweet drawing. Especially the shading. The only fault I would point out is that the area around his nose looks kinda...lopsided. I dunno, theres something weird about it.

Thats why sponsorship, in my opinion anyway, is much better than Ads. Okay, so with ads you can still be making money way after the release, but I don't see much potential money as I don't think many people click the ads. I, personally, click the ads when I really like a game to show some support to the creator.

And sometimes the ads seem quite weird so I want to see what its about :P

you might want to try a combination

IE... get your game sponsored/licensed by any number of X sites that are interested (non-exclusive). Put an ad in the game, but do a url check so that any site that actually sponsored the game wont have ads displayed when loaded on their page. BUT, when that game is taken by other sites, the ads will show up there.

Sponsors are generally more worried about ads leeching their own traffic than looking ugly, though, IMO.

My problem's more annoying :( I got a sweet CPM, but for some reason my game refuses to upload to two out of three sites. I've not even broken past 400K views and it's been out for like two months.

I think the ad servers are pretty clever and understand just how much ads they can serve through the API. They won't field the high CPM ads through something that's making a million impressions a day - thier premium advertisers wouldn't have a long enough run and they wouldn't go back for repeat business since while they'll have served the ad run, it won't APPEAR to have been served - they'll be spent in one microsecond over a single source. Not what advertisers want.

So they'll field through the bulk orders that cost less than a cent eCPM (that they sell in the millions to Zwinky or IMVU or SmileyCentral), and serve those ones through when demand's getting a bit high from a single source, lowering your returns

About the whole sponsorship thing, i agree with the people who are saying sponsorship is better than ads. i've always looked at it this way. With a sponsorship, your basically guaranteed the money unlike with ads where as ads you get paid by clicking on them. (i assume?) i Never used ads before. I also said the same with about contests. Sure they're fun and everything, but if you're not too confident that you're gonna win, a sponsorship pretty much guarantees you money.

Yeah, we launched last night but the domain didn't finish registering (or something) and some people couldn't see the site. Also, we got bug reports. So we decided to just fix the bugs and wait till everyone can see it. It'll be up today.

It takes 48-72 hours for all the domain servers to resolve to the proper IP when switching domains. Had the same issues when switching over other sites.
