My School in the News
So today there were a bunch of news reporters at our school because for a while now, students at my school have been taking pictures of themselves naked and passing them around. It's considered child porn if they're under 18, which is apparently a really serious crime. A bunch of kids have been suspended/expelled including one who created an 80 image word document full of the pictures and put it on the school's shared folder. (every student at my school is issued a macbook so putting the file on the data exchange is basically the same as giving it to everybody in the school). Unfortunately, most of the people getting into trouble are the people (guys) who spread the image instead of the girls (sluts) who took the pictures of themselves in the first place.
Does anyone else have this going on at their school?

We actually had something similar happen in California recently. Two kids who were under 18 were caught in the act and ended up becoming sexual offenders.... for underage sex with a minor. So now for the rest of their lives they will have to live with being a sex offender, something that is not taken lightly in the United States.

Next year my IT class will be taught how to make games in GameMaker, which is a pretty lame. I'm trying to convince my teacher to let us use Flash :)

Well, your pretty much out of luck because the teacher is or has taken a workshop to learn how to use gamemaker, so they can teach it to you. They don't know how to use Flash, so the class would be useless. Unless you want to teach it yourself.

Reminds me - I just got a PS3 :D It was ridiculously easy to install compared to all the warnings I got from Kayn - it needed slightly less stuff plugging in than a PS1 and the wirless network hardware and shizzle is all internal :D Plus I'm loving being able to buy PS1 games I never got the first time round for less than the price of a double vodka and coke.
