You know, we've all made a home video. We've all done art, we've all tried music, we've all tried acting, we've all tried just about everything that we judge in our society. We have gained the ability to judge movies, music, and art because we have all studied humanities to some degree in our lives.

What you haven't done though is tried making a cartoon. You have no right to judge such things to such a heavy degree if you have never tried. Sure, you can not like it, but it's no resposibility of your own to criticize something to such a heavy degree unless you know what the hell you're talking about. Comparing flash cartoons to music is hardly an analogy, because I'm willing to bet that you have played an instrument before.

Let me start out by saying that I don't remember any of SS's flashes, but I wish you all the best in your future endeavors, whatever they may be.

Okay, now that's out of the way. I have a question: why does anyone expect any sort of respect or even courtesy here? Is there even a point to posting anything on these forums whatsoever (outside of obscene gibberish and pathetic in-jokes)? These forums are little more than eco-systems of stupid ideas and caffeinated back-stabbing. Oftentimes they're a perfect demonstration of the worst the internet has to offer. The best and most helpful interactions I've had with NG users has been when one of us contacted the other outside of these forums. They know who they are, and I thank them.

For well over a year I've been busting my hump on an animated DVD, the inaugural offering of my fledging studio in Atlanta. When things started to ramp up with the project a few months ago, I posted a topic here about it, you know, figuring it was relevant to those here who enjoy my cartoons, however few they may be, thus justifying it according to the forum rules. A mod deleted it. In mere minutes. So fuck this shit. (Oh, I'm sorry- does that count as "whining about it"?) Most people who work hard on their animation will go elsewhere (in many cases they already have), and yet another crop of pre-teens will pop up overnight as the new heralds of Crap and Assholery. Whatever.

Believe me, I very much appreciate what NG has done for me in the past. I also understand that NG and its forums are two wholely different things entirely.

I appologize for not reading the former seven pages of this thread, but after dealing with Star Syndicate members for the past few days, reading the deluge of sludge and defamation spewed from the mouthes of my former "friends" would be enough to force a pencil through my eyes. You see, the Star Syndicate has turned into utter shit. The boards have turned into a tumultous haven for liars and backstabbers. Those who I thought were my friends turned out to only get me comfortable enough to turn around -- so they could stab a cold knife of deceit into my back.

I do not apologize for my comments toward the Star Syndicate, and I never will. I put my trust in them and they betrayed me. I am glad the Star Syndicate is disbanding. Maybe then Karma could finally be in equillibrium.
