In all basic, it's a goofy tune, blended with epic elements and orchestral march/war sounds. It's around 1 minute in playtime.
Instruments used;
Strings; Pizzicato Contrabass & Cello, Spiccato Cello, Full String Ensemble (Spiccato).
Brass; French Horn, Trumpet, Tuba (Staccato Hits), Trombone.
WoodWinds; Oboe (Two different ones)
Percussionate Works; Wet Snare Ensemble, Dry Snare Ensemble, Timpani, Bass Drum and Cymbals.

Alot of time spent into it :)

Yeah that, plus the fact that he's making an enormous effort for talented musicians to expose themselves. He's very talented and lacks exposure as well.

I definitely see a lot of anxiety, it derives from thinking too much. Thinking about others and their submissions, the answer is simple, don't listen to any music in this contest and concentrate on your own, or it will really mess you up.

My apoligies for not reading the topic, but what I know it has to be a theme song for 'tankmen'. Can I submit a song about them instead?

# This is very open ended. You can include funny lyrics, or have it just be instumental. Whatever you want. Try keeping it fun and not to serious or downbeat. That's not a requirement, you could surprise me (Utah) if you really believe in your idea.

As mentioned in the first post, I am considerng the possibilites of an independent judgement besides Utah´s pick for the flash. I know that LJCoffee have some great ideas about the judgement, and how to make it ALOT better then the previous MAC. If you people liked the sig-pic award thingy and are prepared to have a specialised sig-pic every month with the winners name on it (or whatever we comes up with:), i´ll do what i can to make it happen.
As far as 2:nd and 3:d awards, the frontpage was supposed to be for #2 and #3, but then i really didnt know what impact the sig-pic award would have...

Remember that the MAC is here for YOU guys, the audio people, so if anyone have any bright ideas, just pop em out!
If you have more "extreme" ideas, don´t hesitate to PM me and i´ll do what i can to help out, come with feedback and stuff.

MusicalSerenity just came to me with a brilliant idea, i´ll let him tell you all what it´s all about himself :)

Well, technically, whatever you would consider a "themesong" for the tankmen would be accepted, so I´d say yeah, go for it. You could simply say "this is my themesong, period". Then noone could really say any different... However, goread the first post anyway, if You who read this haven´t, I suggest You to do that! :)

Also, I´m terribly sorry for not being so available the last two weeks, I have recently moved back to sweden and currently live at my parents. They only have dial up here, so its really frustrating trying to get some work done when u got 48kbps... :(

Well, for the past two years i'v been dling NG audio, burning it on CD's, making my own covers to make em look cool and playing 'em in the car (My mom loves MaestroSorrow >_>).

Anyways, an idea hit me today. What if there was a monthly "Best of MAC6" Audio CD =O

I'd take the top 10 ranking pieces from the MAC and burn them onto a disc. Erkie or I would do the cover art for the cover, one of my friends could POSSIBLY do the CD Art (The first few releases may not have any art because right now he's in india though...), I would include panflits and on the back there would be the track listings.

For the top 10 rankers, this Audio CD would be totally 100% free including shipping (Shipping is on me, as is the ink to do the CD Art, Cover Art, etc. BUT if you live far away then I may ask you to pay for shipping over paypal.) I live in New Jersey. But for anyone else it would cost a small fee (I'll leave the price up to Rucklo).

Also, this is another idea that I thought of. Shoot it down if you will.

Every CD will have one extra "bonus feature" track. These would be retarded little silly things where i'll be like "OMG IT's ME MUSICAL SERENITY" and i'm being recorded and i'l be like "OMG U GOT A SPECIAL BONUS FEATURE WHERE I PLAY MY SONG ON THE PIANO OMG" and i'll rave on for like 5 mins.

But that could be a really stupid idea : D (Yes i am serious about it but i'll definately understand if u don't like it xD)

So anyways lets go over this a bit. (Man i suck at long posts)

Title would be like "The Best of MAC6" and at the bottom somewhere it would be like "August Issue" and Erkie or I will mess around with it and make it look good.

Well, personally I think that if anyone outside the top 10 wants the CD, the should paypal you (MuscialCerenity) the cost for the CD at least.
There are no money involved in the MAC (duh... :) and I think you are making a really really awsome contribution by offering this.
However, let´s say 30 ppl are interested in the CD, and they´re not top ten... then it´d be you who would pay the price... wich i find unfair. So basic paypal 1-2 $ or whatever the CD´s are each would be fair i reckon?....

I feel slightly stupid after my review. I guess I just realized that the theme is for the tankmen, and not for newgrounds, though they are closely connected. So to tell you the truth, I beilieve your theme suits the tankmen perfectly. And nice song, once again.

That's a great idea! I actually had a similar idea, believe it or not, but just never mentioned it on the forum because I thought no one would ever be interested. On a side not, I could definitely do some artwork for the CD's provided you need them but other than that, good luck.
