Well, the whole idea if I'm honest sounds pretty pants. The visual sight of a sword then a username followed by a metal fist with a green background just looks like a dog's dinner, too much going on and I would never use a green background for what is basically a medieval sig, it just doesn't work.
If you want my advice I'd work more towards a theme based on what your username means, as it's unique to you, or have either a gauntlet or sword with your username and a different colour background (maybe like a brick/stone wall background could look cool).

P.S. When quoting on the forum keep the poster your replying to's username at the top (as I have done). This will then give the user a notification and he'll see your reply quicker.
