I had a 5.1 (had), when I heard your song.
And a great non-latency card.
The mastering was still poor mate.
Your speakers isn't equalized properly at a straight curve, but it has more or less probably too little bass, so in order for you to get the right feeling, you have to equalize it to fit YOUR speakers, which won't match with ours.
well, i will admi that my matering sucks, i need someone to teach me to do it beter. but your probly right about the speaker thing.
Im god, fucking deal with it!

Well, my vacation got cancelled ...
Let's just say that my trip was supposed to be to a very unstable country in the Middle East, and that I was going with a large group. We were going to provide humanitarian support to the country. Well, news eventually got around to the world politics scene, and after a mix of propoganda and scare tactics on the sides of all sorts of governments and media organizations, we were forbidden to go, and not even refunded our flight fares. I won't divulge too much, but I will say that even the U.S. government was in on all this (which actually doesn't surprise me). It saddens me that people can't even help others in need these days without politics ruining everything. Gah ... world politics suck. #$(%&@(%&!)#$*%%@#
Sooo ... looks like I'm here for the announcement of the contest winner, which is a good thing. : )
Ignore the guy with the keyboard ...

Lebanon by any chance? the place is a fucking war zone at the moment. tis our fault in the first place though and by our i mean america and europe's. after WWII decide to plonk the jewish among the bloody arabs, yea great idea, fucking einstein couldn't have thought of something better. I get why they put them there. but why does any faith need its own country? Anyways they israel kicks off with all it's neighbours at some point or another, and we sit back and go 'oh, thats okay' it's israel, we gave em it. someone else tries to fight back and it's a different story. Where do you think israel got all it's f-16's? off father christmas or the hanukka armadillo? the mind boggles it really does.
Anyways ted, fuck what your country's said get a private flight, or swing in via europe, we're a bit more into actually helping countries here.
No, not Lebanon, but good guess I suppose. The whole thing about Israel is that none of the Western countries CHOSE to put the Jews there, it was a Zionist movement that uprooted the Arabs from Palestine and stole their land. And then after that, it was simply the Western world's apathy and ignorance that allowed the Zionists to form Israel.
Anyways, private flight is out of the question too. Basically, the airlines were pressured by the governments to not let us purchase private tickets either. A small group of us tried to purchase private tickets and they asked for rediculously high fares. It sucks ... pretty much, everything was conspired from the very beginning to make sure that we could not go. Again, politics suck.
Holy Shi'ite Moslems! Mac6 is about to be pushed off the front page!
What's the status on the judging Rucklo?

I´ve recieved the scores from six users, meaning there´s only two more to go :)
If everything goes as planned, the winner will be announced by monday, andwe´ll have a new MAC roughly at the same time.

Yayness!

The only thing that would have sucked more was if you actually were allowed to intentionally place yourselves into an extremely dangerous situation so that you could all cry and blame "The West" for not immediately coming to bail you out when something terrible happened to you or your cohorts...
Sorry but I couldn't help it - I know it belongs in
the Politics Forum but hey - you brought it up...
So then - about that MAC...
I don't understand your logic in that accusation. Why would we complain about something like that if it was our decision to go and we went on our own accord?
One person could raise just as much of a ruckus if he decided to go on his own and something happened to him. Look at all the kidnapping stories in the Middle East. But it's not like the goverments are preventing private citizens from going. It is because we're a large group that politics had to get completely dragged into the mess. We even tried to purchase private tickets, but they wouldn't allow that either. Obviously, there is something else going on here.
What makes your argument even less viable is that half our group actually got into the country in question, and only after that did it turn heads. There are still about 1500 people from our group over there right now. If what you were saying was true, then the governments would scramble to try and get their citizens extradited, but no, it is not even that. The only reason they blocked the last half of the group from going was to separate us and effectively end our humanitarian mission.
The argument you presented is probably the excuse that they will give everyone, saying that they wanted to "protect us" and prevent an international fiasco, but that is BS. There were dirty dealings and cheap tactics going on here to deliberately separate our group to nullify our effectiveness. If they really wanted to "protect us" then they'd help the 1500 who are stranded over there right now, but no. Now those people have to just sit in their hotels and do nothing for a week because that is the date they purchased return flights for. It's pretty rediculous.

As for that, we're waiting for the results from two more judges to come in, and then we will know the final outcome. Cheers for the success of the first MAC!
Ted, I've PM'ed you my response... we should both know better - If you'd like we can discuss it in more detail in the politics forum.
Judges to release the final scores soon enough... I wonder how ugly it will get if/when the judges comments are posted with the scores.
I think that winners should be posted, followed by a list of each entries scores and the judges comments to go with.
Rucklo - any thoughts on that? - Do you have something in mind for all of the above?

Yay's. Can't wait for the final scores and stuff. :D

That, good sir is something I've been missing at this webpage.
Everyone keep being so scared of "zero-voting" that they either five it, or don't vote at all. Ridiculously high ratings is the result of this.
I try the best to give constructive critiscm, as well as things I already like with a song, but not at the expense of honesty.

By the way, I used to be a zero-voter. Anyhting to climb the charts. And at about my... 60th or 70th song I realized that score doens't matter. I don't vote anymore.

I don't see the point of motivation at Zero-voting, as scores are just numbers, whilst respect is gained by personality and skill.
But by admitting it, I've gained a bit respect for you, which is for some reason rare at this webpage.

I always viewed it as, "They won't view my music cause I have high scores, its cause they liked it in the first place". Like I said, I gave that up a long time ago.
But by admitting it, I've gained a bit respect for you, which is for some reason rare at this webpage.
Yeah. I was wondering what you were gonna say though... :P
I could be wrong... but I think everyone's 0'd a song at least once.
I know before I started making my own music I used to 0 some of you guys (not naming any names). I really regret it now, but it's true.
Can we keep this on topic please? you wanna talk about how many people you've 0'd then either go the the lounge and talk amongst yourselves there or make a thread and see how long it lasts.
Rucklo, my good friend, do we have any info as to whats going on since your last update? we still waiting on two judges?
