One day, in just broad daylight, my friend was returning to his house and when he went into his house and there was GLASS everywhere. the backyard sliding door was smahed! (with a a chair right next to it, too) his Huge Plasma screen tv was gone, (so, more than 1 person robbed them. :-p ) so was his Nin. 64,his ps2, his Xbox, and his Xbox 360. What a bummer.
But at least the police were kind enough to buy all those consoles and all the games and the tv and give them back to my friend for free. :-)

Aww. Thats pretty crap. Here's my burglary story if it makes you feel any better (It's a laugh =)) This happened when I was about 9. (4 odd years ago)
Me and my family rented out this cool 5 floor mansion. I have no idea how much it cost but it had everything. A bar, a TV that spanned about 5 meters. Everything. It was bliss. One night - just a normal night - From my bed upstairs a crack woke me up. I thought that it was my cat, or my sister or something. I just went back to sleep, never giving it a thought. The next morning I was looking for my GameBoy Colour. I left it next to the front door because I was playing it in the garden the day before. Still half sleeping I see the one of the doors cracked open and one unhanged. (There was two front doors, one with a big metal bolt and one bigger door made of wood with several locks on it) And guess what. They nabbed my GBC and ran for it! That's all that was stolen. The police couldn't find any prints or anything. And they did it without tripping the alarm too - it was motion sensitive so anything that even approached the front door was trapped and the police were called. So some master theif who could have raided millions would rather take a poor kid's GBC and a Wario Land 3 game. Weird world eh?

Am i the only one who thinks this is a good thing that tom got his ps2 stolen, I mean, now he's gonna start going to the gym again and he's getting security cameras so that nothing that is actually non-replaceable gets stolen instead of somthing that he could probably easily pay for.
That sucks. Too bad you lost your PS2. :'(

Wow, thats something to be robbed in broad daylight. Although I might have to say, "did you know that most robberies occur when the owner is still in the building?". Its kind of weird because these types of things can happen to anyone. I just hope that it never happens to you guys again.

yea, he's right. Most robberies occur in broad daylight and some when the owner is still in the house. Not many people rob houses at night. Unless they want to kill you or something :/

i find it funny that the robber just walked in when it was daytime, stole a few things then casually walked back out. You said something about setting security cameras up, but wouldnt you just ignore that like you did when the guy sent that message to you? Maybe you should make sure the staff know if there are going to be any visits or something because that way they would know when someone has walked in when they shouldn't.
