We can delete our flash!?
sorry I just realised, sorry if it's old news.
but it appears that I cannot delete my first ever flash, and I can't delete my flash that has been submitted to a collection........I had a re-read of the start of this thread and it doesnt mention this latest step....

We have another new feature for Flash authors. You can now manually remove your submissions if they meet the following criteria:
and then I said... *same link as last.

Could this feature also come for the AUDIO Portal? That would be nice too.
I've always thought this would be a logical idea.
What about the Whistle points for the bad reviews. Would we still get the Whistle points even though the flash is deleated?
I've waited so long for this feature, thankyou!
good, maybe it might be able to open up some bandwith. you should do the same for old topics; if its locked or hasnt been posted in 6 months, get rid of it. unless it has more than 2 or 3 pages
Two things:
-I think 400 votes is a bit low for the limit, but you say you plan on changing that anyway.
-When you delete a submission, you get an email saying it was removed due to a low rating, which isn't true.
Great feature though.
Yay, a way to remove ur own crappy crap. That'll really help cut down on bad submissions.
I've decided not to remove any of my old crap, in the hopes of one day getting 100 flashes into the portal.
Since I've never been particularly proud of my first entry into the Portal (and for some reason I tend to get rid of a lot of old stuff anyway), I'd like to say thanks for the option to remove it.

I like funny bad submissions.

Don't we all?
Filler text.
Because this space needs to be bigger than it already should be.
Jigen made this sig. madknt downsized it to fit the filesize limit. Go team.
that's a nice feature, but i think i'll be keeping all of my portal submissions for the reason you stated.
Nice work though!
Well that's a GREAT thing you did there Tom, I hate seeing all those delete02 submissions with nothing in them, and now they can easily be deleted.
I won't delete mine though (for now)

that would be nice, because i accidently added a small loop of a huge song instead of the song. It sucks because it wont be deleted.
I like the idea of keeping older flash because I know a lot of artists would probably like to delete some of their early work but, as Tom said, it's good to see their progression as an artist.
I was thinking you should be able to delete movies by yourself...
Good job, Tom!

awesome, i've been waiting a long time for this feature
YAaaAAaaarrrrrrr!!!!1 Great news , my boy!
Great News!!!
I deleted 2 of my entries but my batting average stayed the same. Whats the deal with that?

The batting average might be updated daily at around 4:45AM EST when the B/P and EXP ranks are updated as well. Just wait until tomorrow morning for your BA to change.

Isn't you BA updated daily? A score changes a lot so if it would change every time a score changes it would mean a lot of CPU power and stuff.

things to do with newgrounds:
1# Update the features thatw ere suppose to be here years ago
2# delete wade

hmm. good point. I will wait until tommorow then.
Tommy boy, i'll make sure whenever I submit a movie and want it deleted, I'll hope it meets your standards for possible deletion.
I agree, those are good reasons to not just let people delete. But one of the reasons I would want to delete some stuff is because I was considering using my submissions to Newgrounds as a portfolio of sorts. What happens when the potential employer sees your hit movie, considers hiring you, but then finds out you made a "pikachu pr0n" movie a few years ago? Hehe. Maybe we can keep them on NG, but have anonymity as well. Win/Win. I dunno, just thinking out loud. :D
