My two lowest scoring songs that aren't loops or anything like that. What are your thoughts...
Hello yet again, oh generous reviewers! I have a new song that needs (a lot) of reviewing:
This is my first real song, really. Over 3 minutes long, just under a week of work put into it. I'd very much like some comments on this one. :X

Club updates
Each Sunday or Monday, Shanus or Haggard currently create a list of all the members, counting up their points, calculating various stats and posting a list of requested submissions. Assuming you review the submissions listed, you will get points for them on the following members' update, 6 or 7 days later.
On Thursday, perfect-insanity creates a list of all requests and recommendations made since the previous Thursday. This can be considered a 'preview' of the list that will accompany the following members' update on Sunday/Monday. The points for these are tallied 10 days later.
Requests made between the 'preview list' and the 'members' update' carry over to the next preview list. So you will always have over 9 days to finish the reviews. (Feel free to review submissions as soon as they are requested!)
FAQ
Should I link to the club in my sig?
There's no obligation to do so, but it's certainly appreciated. Remember that you can put a high number in place of the page number in the url and if that page doesn't exist yet, NG will take you to the latest page, whatever it is.
So if you link to: http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/4834 48/999
then anyone following that link will always see the latest page.
I don't understand what recommendations are all about!
As mentioned under this section in each list, 'You may make a recommendation if you reviewed 100% of the previous weeks requests and recommendations. It should be over 3 days old and have under 50 reviews.'
As long as your name is on the last 'All requests completed' list, feel free to recommend something you've enjoyed from the portal.
You could use this to let us know about something you think is specially awesome, yet overlooked. If there aren't many game or movie requests, maybe you could make a recommendation so we have something to review.
Does the Review Request Club review stuff for non-NG stuff?
Short answer: no.
Long answer: Milinko used to include youtube requests in the list of requests, but the introduction of a points system didn't leave room for such things. You can request reviews here, but some of us may not have accounts on Myspace/Youtube/whatever or may simply be disinclined to review things outside NG. It wouldn't get nearly as much attention compared to if it were a NG submission.
I'd suggest putting songs on the AP, then making a request that way. It lets us give feedback whilst staying on our favourite site. ;-)

Hi review request club. Can you please review this song :
Thanks.
Ha, I guess it doesn't hurt to have the rules up there twice. People will have to see them this time around.
Anyway, I'd like to comment on how this club is becoming an audio review request club. It's true all you have to do is look at the requests coming in. I personally rather review about a equal amount, but it's almost like a lot of flash artists don't know this club exists and for some reason a lot of audio artist do. There has to be a way even if it's just PMing a couple of people who don't have a lot of reviews on flash submissions about the club or if we just find more spotlight submissions ourself. From now on I'm going to attempt to find 3 spotlight submissions a week. I'll start doing this next week. Perhaps if a couple of people see the Review Request Club written somewhere on one of their reviews they will come to us in the future. Sadly I notice a lot of people that submit flash never come to the BBS or rarely come to the BBS so they might not find us.
Could you review my newest songs?

I wouldn't mind having my flashes reviewed :). I posted them earlier but haven't seen them on the list, so... yeah. Thanks!

I think it's because the audio portal is still highly underrated. You'll find a lot of audio submissions that have 0 reviews, but only a few flashes have 0 reviews. Also, just have a look at the Top Reviewers Lists. Right now the top audio reviewers have just about 2000+ reviews. With that amount they wouldn't even be ranked in the top 10 flash reviewers.
But yeah, more flash requests would be very nice.

For the time being, I can't review audio (A.K.A. 85% of requests here) because I'm getting this wierd problem with the Audio Portal.
Does downloading the song work? If yes, you can simply download it, listen to it, review it. ;)

I've had this problem before, it is simply that your flash player is out of date. Get the newest version
here.
In response to what Corky52 said about the lack of audio requests, I would assume that this is because the AP gets very few views, since there is no "Under Judgment" system there. Users have no incentive to listen to the tracks, and therefore don't review as much. This place is probably the main source of audio reviews...
I have reviewed someons work..If not then I will review someons after this post..
I had to take 2 of my songs down to submit them to another site, because the license terms. I put them back on NG last night and they seemed to be doing well, until someone zero voted them...All reviews are 10's..and yet They both are in the high 3's..lol, so can some of you guys check them out to see if they actually deserve zeros?
I would appreciate this very much.
Hey i posted here before about a month or two ago for reviews and i took some of your opinions and chnaged my tracks quite a bit. I was wondering if you guys have any more constructive criticism on them =P? Well here they are.
Hai Gaiz!
I've actually submitted an audio... and I want some feedbacks!
Hello again. Can you please review this for me :
Thanks.
hey review mine please.
just want some more people to give me their opinion. (i worked harder than usual on this)
Sig made by me
Once again i'm falling down a mountain like a metaphor
Here ends another post by the grand master of all things: fluffkomix
Chance of life time for all flash and audio artist.
I see many request the last few pages of people. A lot of audio.
I have recently dusted of my review list, the flushed it clean.
I decided to show all those people who's reviews I burnate (blam for you poor souls thtt don't get homestar reference).
Actually how a review should be :)
I'm not a member of the club, nor will I be, but I will be looking at people asking for reviews and such you may get a review from me
Ok guys, I know the list is over due by 2 and a half weeks, but I just can't seem to find the time.
Corky52 PM'd me, and I've been trying to find the time to get a list done, but i'm too busy at the moment.
Maybe evertually when I go back to college and get a routine together I'll be able to do a list on a regular basis. But I need to find a backup list maker until then.
So volunteers would be welcome. I really like this club, and I feel like I'm majorly letting it down. So I need to sort things out

No, it's only about half a week overdue - don't beat yourself up all the time. If you were coming to the meet up, I could do that for you :P

I know what it's like, as I don't have time to myself at present either, so it was only by a stroke of luck that I got all of the requests completed last week :P

Hey, look around at our reviews and you will see that yours match the quality of ours. You don't get poor reviewers in this club. ;) Anyway, I requested stuff in this club awhile ago and I wouldn't mind a couple of reviews, so do you think you could give me some? Thats if I'm worthy of a review from someone like you. :P
Make them as honest as you can. I don't really care about the score of the review. Just more the content of the review and how helpful it is.
Please and thank you if you do.

I want you to know that I didn't PM you because I was upset about the list not being done, but that I was just making sure you were still alive. :P

Again, like whats been said before, this club is full of people who have extremely busy lives. Some busier than others, but you don't have to explain to us that there isn't enough time to update it because we all know. That's why we aren't updating it ourselves.
