I like raw music. Now gimme.
Also, I havn't turned national socialist. It's just a cool name.
Vargnatt might have been better though, but meh.
On those white cheeks, on that mouth that no longer smiles,
Tears flows in rivers,
When the world sleeps...
SO YOU DRAGGED ME ALL THE WAY BACK TO NG FOR THIS CLUB AND IT'S DEAD????

Lawl, I told you it needs some publicity.
and as I said, I can't upload the old demo for you before the 21st. My upload/download value, remember? I have to be careful, sorry.

Yeah, yeah, ok. I heard The Cult Of The Damned though.
Your music used to be so angry.
It's quite sad you lost that.
Also, wazzup with the drum tracks? Keep me informed, I don't like being in the dark.
I started recording the new demo today, it is sounding NOIIIIIICE.

All i lost was amateurish, riff-less bullshit with the most horrid programmed drumming on earth. The oldest stuff was supposed to be self-parody anyway. No anger.

In progress.

Good. Need to hear when done.

Do you think this demo is worth releasing? Do you think it's good enough?

I'll give you a sneak peak tomorrow on Myspace.

Shit, I might not be able to, i'm going to work tomorrow. You'll be hearing it either tomorrow or the next day in any case.
I think you'll really like it actually. It's nice and melodic, it has a prominent folk melody too. I probably won't be able to show you it tomorrow... But the day after that i'll show you the guitar tracks.
I was obviously subconsciously inspired by Ulver's Bergtatt, which i've listened to about 12 times in 5 days.

Computer crashed and I lost it, my recording program is gone too. Will get it back and start recording again this weekend.
I tried to get Rotting Christ's Thy Mighty Contract but the download just keeps stopping half way. I did manage to get Burzum's Det Som Engang Var yesterday though. I'm slightly dissapointed. Also, Live In Leipzieg finished downloading just then. MUST LISTEN NAO.
..... What the fuck is going on.
......
What's with these weird metallic noises.
OH
GUITARS
.... They stopped.
Um.
Ok guitars are back.
Now they're gone.
AHHHHHHHHHHH
WHAT THE FUCK
Oh. So this is Deathcrush huh? It's pretty crap. And Dead's vocals are distorting. This isn't as good as I expected. :'(

After getting the Deathcrush EP I take this back.
Also, I just decided to rename Forlorn Realms "Crags of Tel'naeir".
Waddaya think?

I don't know what it's supposed to mean, but if it has a decent meaning, it might sound good.
I don't like Mayhem. I tried listening to them again a few days ago (Funeral Fog) but it was just a sad reminder of how much Attila sucks ass. The riffs were okay.
Getting "Thy Mighty Contract" isn't hard, just try again, different source.

It's a place in a fantasy book i'm reading.
I think it suits my Drudkhy style.

Attila had no idea what to do when they brought him in to do vocals for De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas. He starts off shit, and gets better throughout the album. Funeral Fog is the first track. Listen to Buried By Time And Dust.

I'll try again after Altars Of Madness has finished downloading.

Meh, the song was overall pretty uninteresting and general opinion about it is that it's the best track of the album.

That album is overrated beyond belief :P listenable though.
Oh and thank you for the review, just managed to get past all the MA errors :P
Great review, I just never thought you hated the drumsound so much :P

Just finished recording the guitar tracks to 2 of the 3 songs.
The first song is a little intro song I wrote today, and is very Drudkhy.
The second is more Drudkh and Taake have babies, folky and contains my FIRST EVAR SOLO :3
The 3rd is just fucking epic sad brutalness and is the best song.
I'll do bass tracks tomorrow.

It's chock full of cold as fuck riffs. I'm just alot more into Norwegian shit than you are I guess.

Meh, my computer froze and shit anyway. It's because i'm torrenting the full discographies of Gorgoroth and Darkthrone at the same time probably. I download too much.

Those are really pissing me off. I can't even find anyone talking about it on the forums either.
I didn't know my review had made it in though, i'll go read it now.
Great review, I just never thought you hated the drumsound so much :P
It's fucking HORRIBLE. :P
Nah, it's just that your crash and kick distorts. And it 'aint mah speakers either. WHAT POSSESSED YOU TO MAKE SUCH A SHITTY DRUM PRODUCTION >:((((((((((
Lol. I spelt myriads wrong.
"And, his vocals have too much highs and come out quite siney."
I've always wanted to use that word. SINEY.
SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINEY.

Don't listen to Anaal Nathrakh then. I liked the drums, because they sounded like Nath, and were (more) original than standard fare face-melting blastbeats any black-metal drummer worth his weight can play. I guess originality and ingenuity is more important to me...

Oh, the drumming is fine, Marko's programming is tops. It's the production/sounds that ruined it. Also, I do not like Anaal Nathrakh. I like grind, and I love bm, but when one taints the other..... It's horrid. Especially if it's from England, the arshehole of black metal.
And, I just got Thy Mighty Contract. It's..... Good. I still like Shores of Sheol better. :P
I don't think i'll really pursue Greek black metal at the moment. Give it time.

Pfft. Don't deny the best album ever. Check out Varathron's "Walpurgisnacht" and The Elysian Fields' "Adelain". Now.

DO IT!

Theogonia too. I fuckin loved that album, because it reminded me of Thy Mighty Contract. Also, newer Anaal is nothing like older Anaal. Far too melodic, IMO. Its good musicianship, but it could best be described as melo-deathical-grindkvlt. Or something.
Was reccomende to join here from metal hell.

I know not all of them are black metal. Some folk, some death, most blackened death.

Yeah, I LOVED the first two songs, because they were most reminiscent of their older days. "Rege Diabolicus" is awesome too and probably the most oldschool track of them all. The rest of the album is good too though, overall "Theogonia" is their best album since "Triarchy of the Lost Lovers" back in 1996, in my opinion at least :) none of their releases suck though.
Vengeance, that is a neat list, welcome!

hehe, thanks. I can see this place is a lot slower than Metal Hell. I think I'll prefer it here. Used to the nice slow flash forum :P

Also, forgot to say. I really enjoy listening to Shores of Sheol. Well composed, but you really need to get a better recording device :P

Thank you, but the recording device is actually pretty fine, it's just the drumming that swallows a bit of the quality due to the size limits here on NG and on myspace.
Btw, I've also bought a Zoom G2 effect pedal/modeller and I'm sure that this one will also spice up my sound for future recordings :D

Niice looks awesome. I need to get a good recording device so I can get some recordings of my band :P. Been playing for about 6 months, just started getting a few original's up and going.
