Thanks for the update, Bahamut - I should be able to crack the top 130 in a few days time, by passing Denvish, or Maximus-DM. One or the other. I managed to fleetingly pass Maximus last week, but he has since tied it back up with me and reclaimed his position.

Still, last month, I Cooped bila; Soul-Edge; davidtug and forevertorn, so it wasn't a total loss.

*sigh* at this end of the grid, it looks like passing opportunities come few and far between - perhaps I'll get two this month, if I can grind one more deposit out, over Maximus, but we'll have to wait and see.

2 year special update is now up!

Hello all and welcome to the 2 year special update. Just like last year, we have a special update showing how most of the high EXP users have done over the last 365 days. The keyword being most here since not all the users are on there and the most active ones would need to be tracked on with 4.5k EXP and you can imagine tracking down that many users with at least 4.5k EXP being hectic.

Also like last year, gold awards are given out to the most active depositers but only if they have 3,650 or more EXP gained since last year (marked in gold). If not or you've yet to deposit for today and would have had gold if you deposited sooner, there's always the silver awards for everyone who gained 3,640 EXP for runner-ups (marked in red).

The last little addition is the asterisks by the users' name which indicates that they've earned gold twice in a row.

One last thing, take note that there are some features missing from regular updates. This is due to the spreadsheet using the layout from last year rather than the most recent.

Anyway, I just realized that the columns are titled wrong. I guess "RANK +/-" should be "levels gained" and "DEPOSIT RATE" should be "Rank +/-".
Ah well, mistakes happen. It's good to see Pimp missing some deposits (5 or 6 deposits). This means bomb is catching up a little bit. Would be really nice to see someone else being ranked #1 after such a long time.

Looks like I got my first gold award. I know I missed one deposit last time due to a failing internet connection. As Haggard has already pointed out, the rank change should probably be level up and deposit rate should be ranks up.

For the rest it's a nice list with some interesting statistics. Like humantarget falling 31 ranks since last year and Pimp missing about 6 deposits.

Thanks for that, Bahamut - It's now about 4 years in a row I've been perfect with depositing, which is really something.

48 Ranks gained in the year, which is almost 1 per week. I know that I've lost 1 rank nett over the course of the day, but I'm sure I'll be able to get that back soon.

Can I get to the top 100 by the nest update? 3,650 additional experience would bring me past everyone including Vert, assuming that no-one among them deposited, but few will be perfect like me (2 users were last year between me and Vert) I think that my gains will be between 15 and 20. That would put me tantalisingly close to the top 100, thus causing the fight to begin again, as I go on about my inevitable march to the top 50 :P

That update was excellent man. Really enjoyed it, but was a bit disappointed with my turnover for the year... didn't realise just how many deposits I'd missed, but hopefully (HOPEFULLY) I can do better in the future.

Heh, this update reveals some interesting things... For example, Pimp misses more deposits than bomb does, thus bomb is catching up on him. Could we see a new top exp. user by the next update?

Also, not everyone is that perfect, as I thought they were. I mean, I have always thought that I was the only one who missed deposits, turns out I only had less deposits than about 150 users that are ahead of me. It feels less uncomfortable to miss a deposit now, heh. ;P

EXCELLENT! Not perfect, but still excellent!

I remember these two deposits that I missed. Both of them were during the summertime, when I was travelling. We couldn't get the dial-up to work on the first day there, and it was really late = no deposit. The other one was in the Metallica's concert day. I was really tired and everything = no deposit. Dammit!

Well, it was Metallica, so it was worth. ;)

Looking below me... there are, literally, NO users that had more deposits than I did. Thus, I won't fear being overtaken, if I keep up this pace, that is. ;)

And looking ahead doesn't look that bad either. There are VERY FEW users that had more deposits that I did (those are only the gold and red ones, btw), so I might overtake a bunch of them by the next special update. Heh, I might even get in the top 600, which would be great, yet really tough.

Oh well, since you can only get 10 exp a day, all you can do is deposit and hope that the others ahead of you don't. >:)

I know what went wrong with the spreadsheet. I made a minor mistake and came across several problems today. I just happened to have overlooked the deposit rate column. Ah well, I've fixed it now. Thanks for pointing it out!

Perfect again. No deposit missed for... I think 4 years now? I know I missed two or three deposits when I went to my first Rock Hard Festival in 2007 and I didn't ask for anyone depositing for me while I was away.

Anyway, my deposit rate is nearing the 60% mark now, which is awesome as well. When I became active again after my absence it was down to 26%...

Also, I'm really getting close to the top 300 now. About time I enter there. :)

Thanks Bahamut, Coop here, reporting from the front line. It seems that the pace for me gaining ranks is indeed slowing down, with only MaximusDM; ZIGZAG4EVA and Denvish giving way to the march.

Things aren't looking too good at the moment for the next month, with PointsofAuthority and gd07 slow enough for me to pass on the current paces, but we'll have to see what the future holds. The progress toward the top 50 looks very slow at present, but we'll wait and see.

Perhaps the top 125 is just around the corner, but I still think we'll be nearer September by then.

Argh. I'm starting to hate looking at this list. It's nice to see +3 this month, but it's annoying that I'm really probably only +10 for the past 6 months. I can see myself breaking into the top 120 within the next two months, but I can't even look far enough ahead mentally to see breaking 115 or 110 when it comes to inactive or slow depositors.

Top 100 is so close, but so far. I REALLY hope I'm there by the end of 2011.

2 weeks in Turkey has cost me dearly this update, with only 2 ranks gained and a number of more active users passing me by. Still, I hold my head high knowing that all of the points I have gained are mine and mine alone, and that I haven't caved into the addiction that is gaining experience at any cost.

Hopefully this month will be more consistent and I'll be back to gaining ranks at a slow, but steady pace.

Sometimes I feel too many of the top ranks are addicted. But maybe that's why they are in the top or maybe it's just me wanting those spots.
