Yes I'm getting very sick of FFF spamming the portal with crap, I hate the garbage that passes as flash. I press o but still its passed. Yep I just saw the obituaries All Around The World ones are there. Wade Fulp having a massive clear out by the looks of things. I was reading the article you linked to Sir-Nuts, and it was interesting. I found the information helpful and true, why bother leaving bad reviews for those flashes when they will soon vanish? Although the likes of GreyClock has not hurt him from getting massive views, see Newgrounds Rumble 2 of ones by BigFuzzyKitten. Anyway Rucklo a mod again http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1018 041. Good on him I hope he goes on a bit of a spree with the FFF flashes they are getting out of hand I vote 0 and they just somehow pass. It's frustrating but at least we can rely on Wade to get the job done sooner or later.

Anyway it's still a good new. A lot of spam flashes were deleted, and a Newgrounds user decided to change for better :)
And I hate those FFF flashes. I just don't get why people won't vote 0 in such a crappy flash. They vote high because they know it's going to be protected. But in fact it passes judgment because of people who think like that, if all the people who says "it's going to pass anyway" voted fairly, then it would be blammed. Like some kind of crazy paradox or something.

That's the problem I think a lot of people don't realize how much of a difference their vote makes. I've added a statement to my spammers' black list saying that even if people thought this way they should blam it. Because after it passes it isn't safe from Wade.

Eh, not the worse thing I've ever seen pass. Although very short it could be considered funny to some people, and the animation isn't completely appalling, plus the sound is pretty well synched. A good candidate for encouragement and improvement in the future, even if this flash is deemed blam worthy by some.

I probably won't post much as there are some real life things to deal with (an interview at Cambridge university next week to start with...), but I am around, and Coop, you had better not get too comfy!

I guess they would lose out but I would imagine TheThing, that Wade Fulp would give you the points. I mean after the massive clear out last year, I got 50 blams from the deletions so I would imagine that's what would happen. So

i think they keep their saves... it was save at that moment and they earn it... if Wade deleted later and he give the blams...
it was because we were right when voting and is like a reward so we continue blaming what should be blamed and protecting what should be saved

Did you find that it was easier to get B/P with time because your voting power grew or did it always seem more or less the same?

The effect of your voting power is minimal, and when you are voting what the submission deserves you get the majority of points (Or should do at least...) whether you have a VP of 0 or 15. What really determines the rate you get B/P is the pace of the portal, which has fluctuated a lot over the years, and is significantly slower now than 3 or 4 years ago, when people hit 100+ per day in here as a routine. I've certainly never noticed myself getting more points voting 0 on spam for example, despite my high VP, my influence is still small and recently in particular they've passed anyway most of the time.

Yeah I think it works like that. If people who voted high lost their blams, you'd see many people complaining every time Wade deletes all the crap submissions.

A week on Wednesday (the 28th). It's to do a PGCE... yeah, I'm going to be the natural enemy of many NGers, a teacher! Cambridge was my first choice for it (obviously), but if that doesn't come through then I've got some strong backups that I hope I'll stand a good chance with. It will all be kicking off in September then, leaving me quite some time to persue other interests (like regaining my position from Coop!)
