You seem to have misinterpreted the challenge, Supreme Commander. I was referring to a challenge with regard to Voting Power. I would say we currently stand more or less even, as I have the higher base VP and you the higher adjusted VP. How long would you like to give me to make a charge at your adjusted mark then?

Actually, I can refute that. Consider the average Portal flow, which is currently around 200-250 submissions a day. If I make 100 B/P a day (which I can't anymore, grr...), I'm getting 40% of the points on average assuming a 250 submission day. If Clock Day quadruples that and brings it up to 1,000 a day, that would indicate, in general, quadrupling my B/P, bringing it up to 400 B/P.

There's only two other things to consider, which, granted, do change the estimates a lot. Let's say I work extra hard and stay on NG a few extra hours during Clock Day...that would naturally raise my estimate to, say, 500 B/P. Also, another factor is the changed pattern of how fast Flash come on the Portal. Meaning, times where there are few submissions, say, right after midnight, will be busy on Clock Day. Therefore, I might get a few extra points because that is the time I'm normally on. Therefore, I could make as much as 550 B/P.

Averages do matter in this, but it ultimately goes by how hard you work. Me, on the other hand, can't do anything about my 12-8 time slot at work, which means I can't work "extra hard" at all. My average day these days is very low, only making around 50-70 B/P. I would expect, even if I stay up late/get up early, to only get around 250-350 B/P out of Clock Day. Of course, I could be wrong...time will tell.

EAGLEROCK you also have to take into consideration one-500 submissions you voted on passed or not...say you gave one-500 a 5 and the rest of the people blammed it....you never know.

Well, considering I get about 30-40 points per day. On your system, I should get closer to 120-160 points on Clock day. I'd be dissapointed with less than 200, to be honest. I'm not expecting to beat Ghost Phantom, barring a complete disconnection from the net.

I don't think it's a good idea. Some people can easily pull over 150 B/P a day (*COUGH*SLASH*COUGH*), while others just can't do over 20 a day for whatever reason. It's not fair to those that try but cannot do more for them to constantly get a "failing" grade. It would seem almost demoralizing to me if we implemented that and only the few extra dedicated people like Slash, Ghost_Phantom and JoKeR_ADT could get anything above an A. Hell, I would be S every day a month ago, but now I can barely make B. Is it through any fault of my own? Since you need money to live, I daresay no. :-)

Yes, but consider that you will probably stick around a few extra hours on NG during Clock Day. That alone will drastically raise your projections. According to my system, you'll get around 120-160, but adding the fact that you said you can only B/P during slow hours, that will raise your average as well. Couple that with the fact that you will probably B/P during some extra hours (including the more active ones), I'd give a rough projection that you'll probably make around 200-300 B/P. Of coruse, that's a rough estimate, it could even be more depending on how hard you work. :-)

i always vote on flash quality. because of people mass voting knowing a piece of crap will get through weend you getting mass submissions of crud getting in like on sunshie day. however my efforts alone never seem to been enough so i too am looking for the support of the barracks. is your honor and pride worth a blam point?

Well, I might be a little more lenient than usual...giving two's to some of the things I might normally give one's to...but if something is crap, it's not going to get a passing grade from me. If I only got, like, 200 instead of 300, it's still going to be a great day, lol.

I heard that least year, there were more than 50 UJ flash at times. I don't want to have to deal with any of them slipping off the most recent 50 without me watching...which is why I <3 Firefox and its sexy, sexy tabs. ^_^ I can open up a half dozen flashes and let them load and watch them one at a time, so hopefully I can avoid any unwatched UJ flash leaving the recent 50 list.

Allow me to put it like this: I won't be going to cricket practice and I'll hardly be playing World of Warcraft. I'll probably be nailing down some reviews, which I desperately need, I've only managed about 15 this week

Naturally, I shall be voting fairly for all flash, as these are the sort of days which allow me to get more saves than blams. Much as I would like the points, I shall still vote 0 on crap (most flash to come through the portal) and vote 2-5 derpending on the quality of the flash I watch.

I think they should do both and they should make it so you can get an extra ten exp when you vote on five audio submissions that way the audio portal gets a little more popular and leveling up doesn't take as long.
