I see some assets that look AI-generated. What do you guys think?

The first and third one are fine. The character portraits are AI-generated, and so is the voice acting, but the pixel art and dialogue appear to be human-made. The music is probably fine too, but I'm less certain of that. On the whole, using AI assets for your game is permitted for as long as it doesn't make up the bulk of the project.

... Which is the case for the second game, which is a VN, and all the illustrations are AI-generated.

Non animated and the first three minutes is a guy breaking into cars and stealing stuff. Rest of the video has random crack addicts flashing the camera for beads and a bunch of drug addicts being videoed...

I got another concern since I’m still new to the forums, I found another video that got passed judgment and it looks like it used a 3rd party assistant using plotagon. Is kinda looks like a 3d version of goanimate. Is it flaggable?

The rule was created to give us an avenue to remove crappy vyond/goanimate/plotagon content that didn't break any otherwise existing rule. Not ALL submissions that use that software need to be flagged. Crappy ones can be, the rare but decent ones can be left alone. I'll watch this particular submission in a bit; busy doin some things now.

Greetings, all - and welcome to the last roster of 2024! It's amazing to think that this year is almost over. It's been a hell of a ride, and from the looks of it, 2025 may not be any easier. It seems that so many negative things are swirling around us now, from vicious politics to economic worries to wars in Europe. Throw in some nasty weather patterns and fear-mongering media so no matter where we look, it's trouble.

But I'm not going to let all that control me. Am I concerned? Yes. Do I feel overwhelmed? You bet. Does it impact my life - yes, but only to the degree I allow it to.

I have a hanging rug in my living room, and on it is the Serenity Prayer:

"God grant me the Courage to change the things I can change, the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, and the Wisdom to know the difference".

And even if you are not religious, it still carries an important message: You can't change everything; do what you can, but don't beat yourself up over the things out of your control.

I can't solve all the worlds problems, nor can I change how the politicians, world leaders and the media act. But I can change myself - and in doing that, hopefully spread some good to others to be passed on still.

Remember when you were younger, and didn't know or care about the world's problems. Your world was your family, your friends in the neighborhood, going to school, enjoying days off, and living a relatively uncomplicated life. The people around you weren't perfect, and unless they were truly abusive or dangerous, you got along with them. You valued your friends and their opinions, but you didn't need their approval to be yourself. And if you were like me, anything outside of your sight range and neighborhood didn't really affect you.

Life is not as simple as that today, but we can make it simpler. Spend more time with family and friends in person, and less online, where countless opinions and fictional stories masquerading as facts constantly overwhelm us. Stop and think about what you really have - not the material things, but the people around you, or your pets or teachers or friends. Think about how they fill your life - and how you fit in theirs. Remember the times spent together, and think about making plans in the near future to make more memories.

I say this because as an old lady, my circle of friends and family grow smaller each year. Death is the great equalizer - you may cheat it for a few years, but eventually, it will take you. When I think about those friends and family that have passed, I don't remember the politics or religious arguments, - I remember their conversations, their friendships and caring, and how their life helped me feel a little bit more complete. I remember the jokes and the trips and the stupid pranks; the laughing and the crying, the joys of holding their new babies and the tears when we had to bury parents.

So, my Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Festivus/Holiday wish for all of you is this: May you find it in your hearts to push back against social pressure and anxiety, and see your family and friends as they truly are: the light in your life that makes life worth living. Sure, they're not going to agree with you on many things, but as I said, unless they are truly dangerous or abusive, they are worth holding onto.

Along those lines, this old hippie is reminded of a song by the late, great John Lennon - and part of it goes like this:

Imagine there's no countries - It isn't hard to do;

Nothing to kill or die for, and no religion, too

Imagine all the people, living life in peace.

You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one.

I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one...

This message is over 50 years old (it's an anti-war song), and it still rings true today: it's world leaders and politics and religion that cause us to take sides and create conflict; but we, as people, can find peace outside of all of that. We can live our lives in peace when we shut out all the noise from those that seek to control us.

May you all find that peace, and may happiness, love and friendship abound in your life. I am blessed to be part of this wonderful community here, and I am grateful to be able to share part of my life with you all. Thank you, all of you, for that!

I find it hard to have friends, let down, left out, and gaslit too many times. So opening up is hard, so I keep people at arms length, and hide behind a smile.

Yes and no. It consists of literally two keyframes, and most of the video's runtime is a freezeframe. It's a slideshow. I'm sorry if I sounded strict and picky. I think that if the submission was about a much less successful game, and not made by dynamotoons but rather some unknown third rate nobody, it would've been removed.

And this is why people complain about favouritism. We're supposed to pretend it's a good thing.

Hey, sorry in advance because my post is probably a bit off-topic. I was reading rule and forum for a while trying to find a better place to post my question, and it felt like the less wrong place for me to ask that... even if it's probably still not the good place...

I'm having an issue with one of my work getting its rating change and locked from M to A while I'm pretty sure it's place should be in M.

And to be clear... The goal of my post isn't really to find someone to check it, but I mainly want to understand better how changing someone else rating works, because I kinda understood that you don't have to be part of the moderation team to be able to do that which make me fear I may have a few haters trying there best to lower my visibility... Or maybe it's absolutely not how this website work, and I'm just searching too far...

So anyway, If someone is kind enough to help me better understand the rating system or guide me to a place where my question should be posted I would really appreciate it, and once again sorry if I posted in the wrong place.

You have six movies that were rated A, your most recent one does have naked tits in it.

Most of your stuff, especially within the M-A range is body inflation, which may still be classified as fetish content, and is very definitely hornybait.

Under the Movie Guidelines:

"If your animation is fetish content, please just mark at as adult; people get unhappy when fetish content appears in the non-adult listings."

Under this rule, your stuff should be given the A rating. But realistically, a mod might probably only re-rate the most egregious cases, even if there's no real nudity. Depends on the context, and who's flagging it.

I also think they're less likely to re-rate your movies back to M if you started with rating them A.

If a submission contains visible breast nipples and/or genitals, it can't be rated lower than A. No exceptions.

So, to clear the misunderstanding, The animation I was talking about was already re-rated back to M.

For all the other A rating on my account, I did put them in A rating myself when I thought they were indeed too spicy.

The animation that was changed and lock into A rating was this one: https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/954963 I'm not denying the horny bait aspect, but I thought A rating was exaggerated for this one in particular.

I would like to bring to your attention this submission:

if you look carefully at right bottom corner of the video you will read "made with Jammable". I went to see what this Jammable was and I discovered it's a site to make AI covers with your favourite characters.

Plus the animation is stolen from Ryan Krzak.
