Hello there,
I was directed here by someone on a previous thread of mine, and after reading through the barracks' manifesto and what it stands for, I have become interested in joining, as its beliefs about voting fairly and cleaning up the portal align a lot with mine. As I do not yet meet the requirements to become a full member, I wish to apply for the ROTC.
I have been judging mainly movies for a while now, although I wouldn't have a problem with expanding to other media as well. It's something I enjoy as a way to help keep the portal free from spam/low-effort submissions as well as prohibited content.
I must admit that there was a period of time in which I did vote based on whether or not I thought a submission would be blammed/saved, something that is a big no-no in the rules of the Barracks. However, that is something I've definitely been doing less as of late since I've realised how dumb it is.
I'm definitely not at the level of some of the higher-ranking members in terms of finding/reporting submissions, but I'm always open to learning their craft. I judge submissions regularly, although as always other stuff gets in the way sometimes. I hope that, by joining the barracks, I can hone my skills and help make the portal a safer place for everyone.

I ain't no Recruitment Officer or Chief Barracks Officer, but despite me reading the Recruitment page, yeah no, you won't possibly join due to the fact your B/P Rank is too low. Your current rank at the moment is a Police Sergeant, but that's still 3 ranks below Private, which requires a total amount of 2500 B/P points (IE the total sum of how much blam and save points you have earned.) to obtain. Your whistle's completely fine because a Bronze whistle is the bare minimum for membership. But just because you can fulfill both Whistle and B/P rank conditions, it doesn't necessarily guarantee you membership, because the process is then determined by a examination of majority vote by the Chief Barracks Officer and then he makes the call.
I know that YendorNG has mentioned this thread before (Yes, I do check post histories and this is something someone will do during the recruitment process.) and to make an answer to your question on E-Rated VS T-Rated submissions, this is relatively simple for mainly games, movies, and art (Audio, Blogs, and making new Threads don't count because they're mainly radio buttons that opts any rating you must assign to.). E-Rated submissions simply do not have "some X" (Aside from nudity because that jacks the rating to M.) in any catergory, while T-Rated submissions have "some X" but not "lots of X" or some nudity. To understand this, just click on the radio buttons on the respective catergory when you're making either a game, movie, or art project. A-Rated submissions, on the other hand, is unique because this rating ONLY applies when the submission has lots of nudity or just simply the rating that tells you it's porn. The ratings do not change by the sum of what content is there. Furthermore, while you might think an A-Rated video that has NO nudity should get something like the T-Rating or the E-Rating, you will lose points for this as this submission is protected by the overrate rule, where you can't report a submission for just overrating its' content. Another thing to note is that there are more details on what content is rated what in the Art portal, as stated here, but remember: this board is exclusively about game and movie submissions. There are boards like the Audio Portal Cleanup for audio submissions, but seriously don't post any violations about art ANYWHERE in the BBS, just DM an Art mod that's listed in here. Don't know much about review and blog violations and whether or not they should be posted or not, since they're a minority in the BBS (Unless there are and I haven't checked at all.) and so are medal violations for this board.

Read the Art guidelines, you mediocre artist. If you did make it, you can post it but remember, you must FOLLOW the guidelines. It's not a dumping ground for you to post artwork you didn't make, nor is it a site like DeviantArt. You cannot post or access materials that exclusively for 18+ users.

there is animation but none that belongs to the author
so, you would go find the given animated clips on youtube or another website, link that other location of the contained clip, and then post both the link of the offending animation and where the author stole the animation from
