I don't think there are any rules that specifically bans GoAnimate, nor are there any that prohibits text to speech.

A direct source would be nice (as in, which animation of his was used). For all I know this could've been an original fan animation.

I wanted to say that if it worked for Edd, it's fine for this guy, but I could not find it on his NG page, so I have no idea about this one.

There's a few original drawings and scenes here and there, but a lot of third-party stuff as well. It'd be nice to credit the sources.

Sure it's a little choppy, more like someone used an animatic as a colouring book.

Where do you draw the line at "no animation"? Some of the shit I've uploaded have just as little 'animation' as this.

A lot of these are old, and there's a small chance they have been reported when new, but have since come out clean.

Hope everyone has had a great summer so far - I'll be sad to see it go in a few weeks, but then we start autumn, which does bring with it new joys of a rich variety of colors as trees slowly fall asleep, choking off water to their leaves so they dry out during a most spectacularly chromatic demise. Truly a wonderous sight to behold! The best part is that all the mosquitoes go back to hell where it's warm, leaving us alone until next spring. Not a bad season, if you think about it.

While that IS true, it doesn't necessarily means Alvin Hung owns the video because of the assets, or the usage of said stuff violates the Movie Guidelines. The whole purpose of GoAnimate is to create quick and easy animations for people who don't know anything about animation. While it sounds similar to AI animation, GoAnimate still requires you to actually put in the characters, props, backgrounds, audio, and such by your own hands, therefore it is a product YOU made. Sure, it doesn't have the same stigma as Adobe Flash or Blender, but it is still an animation software.

There are many other low end type animation programs that we allow, all the same thing, we just base our votes based on the level of effort that is being presented
