One way to detect if a userpage is fake is to check the authors' other official pages (ie. YouTube, Twitter, website, etc.) to see if they linked or posted it somewhere.
Spoiler alert: they didn't,
If they didn't, it's likely fake, but it could also mean they're keeping it discreet / testing the waters.
That leads us to the only other method, verification from the NG staff.
As an example, I once suspected this Rucka Rucka Ali NG page was fake for a while, especially when he submitted some stuff that got reported on the EGB (and occasionally taken down). That was until I messaged Tom Fulp about it, and he confirmed it was real.

They joined in September, yet they started with A Songus Amongus, and hadn't posted the rest of their catalogue.
