since I am thinking about it just right now, should we be calling out people who upload 3d renders of characters that spin in place, there is no real animation to the presentation normally, its just a rendered character that spins around usually once or twice AND they usually upload a still frame or a piece to the art portal as well
could we call them on the rule:
Your submission must not be a pointless "demo" or "preview" without any redeeming qualities.

This is literally the pilot of south park, I'm pretty sure this got blammed before
Not original author, creators were generously listed in description. I'm pretty sure this was uploaded without their permission.
Apologies for posting multiple times in a row, I know it seems spammy but I'm just doing them as they come along.

on a different note this is why I ALWAYS add a name to the content that I add to the forum so that I have a name for the piece that I am flagging, at that point, I have the minimum of the content that was uploaded and can look through the obituaries for the name, and then I can get the username that was submitting.
---------
and the way that you look into this is to see the animation:
"Poppy Funktime" (DEMO) | VS Bunzo Bunny | FNF mod
it does not even work for me... convenient
do a quick check through the webpage and their username page for any links for the name and see how far you can go, and then if you cannot get any links to line up, then the content becomes suspect.
the creator needs to be the same in this case as the author because:
You must be the creator and owner of the content you are submitting.
as it is a gameplay piece that the author is submitting, and the submission of self-created game content is the closest gray area that they can achieve in this respect
sadly/happily they actually gave us the links and the names for us to flag them on directly
so the flag that you would give is:
author is not the creator of the content that they are submitting
or
author is submitting gameplay footage of FNF that they did not directly create

For something like Spotlight (where there’s no animation), or something like Poppy Funktime above (where it’s just gameplay footage), which of the flag options are appropriate (if any)? I feel like none of the available options quite fit the bill. (In light of your earlier post, I guess Poppy Funktime could get the Stolen flag or the Copyrighted Music flag, since it’s gameplay footage of a game that the author did not create, but I can envision a scenario where an author uploads gameplay footage of a game that the author did create, which would still violate the rule against uploading gameplay footage.)
Copyrighted music. The song is by Gorillaz and was released this year.

I have the same pet peeve with the multiple choice flagging options. Take "SPAM" and not 'SPAM' for instance. HRT supplements, overgrown or big as the body sized tits (or even bigger), should be adult rated or at least rated M. Pirated videos should be under the "STOLEN" category, not "SPAM". "Extreme pornography" would probably apply to bestiality, gangbang, and other things that have passed judgement already, so I don't know what's up with that. Maybe it's from the complete lack of boundaries out there.

you are correct that the rule that is being broken is:
You must be the creator and owner of the content you are submitting.
but I can envision a scenario where an author uploads gameplay footage of a game that the author did create, which would still violate the rule against uploading gameplay footage.)
there is a gray area here where an author can create a game, and then play it and record the footage and then post it for view points and half advertisement... but only in that very narrow band, where it was created by one person, its played by that person, and the uploaded content is uploaded by that person
inside of that narrow band it checks these rules off, which if you screw with any of the above words, it then breaks the rules.
this rule is OFTEN and is usually only able to be used in the event that #1 is broken. this however IS up for discussion based on the individual content that is being uploaded, we have seen a few videos in the past where the author was uploading a number of videos per week, of updates that they were doing to their in-progress game that looked a lot like a smash bros knock off
This content is allowed to exist because it complies with all 5 of the rules listed above. But if you introduce into the above paragraph that the content is being dealt with by anyone other than the original creator, then one of the 5 rules is broken and it can be flagged

for spotlight, the rule that is being broken is
Our focus is on animation. If you want to try live action here, it must be a short film with legit production value and preferably some animation component done in post production.
because it is a low-quality submission and there is absolutely no movement of anything on the screen then it passes this rule and could even be called into question on the rule
Your submission must not be a pointless "demo" or "preview" without any redeeming qualities.
if you want a longer explanation then just ask, and i can provide

spam is a submission like:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MnrAw8Icfs&ab_channel=Hurricoaster
yes you could flag it under the stolen category, but spam upload would work just as well
HRT supplements, overgrown or big as the body sized tits (or even bigger), should be adult rated or at least rated M.
this falls under the spam flag category, and you reference the rule:
Your submission must not simply be an advertisement.
Pirated videos should be under the "STOLEN" category, not "SPAM".
depending on the video, if you take for instance
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiTDUNkRn0w&ab_channel=KotteAnimation
and you only post a video that is from 0 to 7 seconds of the video then you could call it spam or pirated video
if you took the same video, and hacked it all apart and spliced in 0-3, 10-11,14-15,30-32 it could also be called on spam or pirated video, but its more so spam at that point... IF at the end of the flagging the result is that the video is removed either way, does it really matter?
"Extreme pornography" would probably apply to bestiality,
sadly... animated bestiality is legal... :/.... write your congressman and get into politics... it's fucked, but it's legal... I have checked on this because I wanted to flag this kind of thing in the past too
gangbang, and other things that have passed judgment already, so I don't know what's up with that. Maybe it's from the complete lack of boundaries out there.
depending on the content, it needs to pass the general rule
You may not submit photography/video images of excessive gore and/or "snuff."
excessive being the word of the day... what is excessive? no one knows for sure, but when you see something and it just screams that the content is excessive, then you will know that it is excessive in your tummy and toes, and then the flag is warranted. Otherwise, it is only fetish content and as long as fetish content is rated as adult... its ok :/
