Very well, grasshopper. First, you must sacrifice your social life. Women, friends...these are all trivialities which only distract a blamming warrior. School? HA! School may teach skills essential for life in the "real world" (which I still don't believe TRULY exists), but it does not teach a blamming warrior.
Next, you must learn to get by on minimal sleep. 10 hours? No way. 8? Still too much. When you are able to consistantly get by on 4-6 hours of sleep, you have succeeded.
Lastly, you must learn PATIENCE...the patience to sit at the computer for hours on end. The patience to keep refreshing the portal every couple minutes, even if nothing new is submitted for an hour. You never know when a burst of flash may appear.

The way of the blamming warrior is not an easy one, grasshopper.

Yup, that's right, I'm back!! A little drunker than when I left, and pretty sore from a tough training session, but pleased to see the portal so active (for once!). I've racked up another 20 points, making one of my best week days ever with nearly 70 points today!! Hurrah!! I am free most of the weekend, so with luck I'll be ranking up to Prap by the end of Sunday!

But pretty amazing story, I'd go insane with that lifestlye and since I still live with my Dad I'm sure he wouldn't be too happy about it either.
What I usually do is just go on the computer to check the portal maybe twice an hour, then the rest of the night I just do what the typical teenager does. I rarely miss any submissions that way... and I'm sure it's a little healthier too. =)

but being 16 (as im assuming you are), how did you manage to get such a high level so fast? there must be other things that occupy your time, although i usually only get on long enough to see maybe 50 entries a day, except on weekends.

Felt ironic when I heard Slash who owned the fastest pace here said that he needed to hurry up. >:( Slash, I noticed that you had been a NG mebmer since 2003, what were you doing before you took b/p seriously? You could be our b/p king if you were serious from the very beginning. I took around 50 days off when I was a NG n00b, otherwise I would be at least an EG Colonel already. I like the EGLC badger though, but the next rank up will require 2000 more points. :P

I did go on Newgrounds for a while, but didn't deposit or anything. I just watched some flashes, usually the front page ones. Eventually I lost interest. Then, in early 2005, I found it again, and slowly began B/P'ing. Before then, I hadn't even been aware of the portal's existence, lol. I slowly reached Police Captain, then took a break over the summer until about November. Once I hit Elite Guard Private, I kicked it into overdrive, and since then, I have gotten 100+ a day with only a few exceptions for bad days and computer problems, lol.
Yes...I know that if I'd been serious since the beginning, I would, today, be getting my 10000th EXP, and have been a Supreme Commander a long time ago...sigh.

Well, lol, I've had girlfriends before...although I admit, not for a while...and I 've had quite a few...how shall I say...successes with females in the past few months, lol. Let's just say that having your best friends being chicks is awesome, lol. And not to mention an ex-girlfriend will be visiting me in Pensacola in a couple months, and um...long story, lol, but short version is...things are planned. She's married you see, but it was damn near an arranged marriage, blah blah blah, and...well, yeah. Amusing...haha. I have a life, but it's behind the scenes and slow-moving, I suppose, lol. Welcome, Lieutenant General! It is nice to have another high-calibur soldier joining us! It's pretty easy to keep track of stats...I just use a lil notepad document on my computer to mark start and end points each day, lol.

If your a stat lover I'd recommend it, it's just a nice thing to know what days you hit certain milestones etc without having to go digging through your post history.

(sigh) He used to own the fastest pace in Denvish's b/p 51+ list, and I grantee you that he can get 130+ per day easily when he is serious.
