Already done a while ago when I realized your posts were showing up as ...'s instead of actual posts. I actually don't recall blocking you. I was locked out of my account for a few days suspiciously after a round of modding. Took me a couple days just to get my password reset and get back in. Went through all my settings and my sentbox/super sekrit mod logs, and nothing was changed. I probably did get irritated and block you just so I wouldn't be tempted to further make an ass out of us both.

It does my heart good to see that @ADR3-N and @Fro have worked out any past issues and are now getting along again. It was handled in a very professional and positive manner, which is consistent with the high level of respect we all give - and receive - here at the Barracks.

So a random topic. I'm currently organizing massive lists of icons that still need to be created for newgrounds. I knock a few off the list myself every now and then, but I had hundreds in their place. I'm looking for volunteers to make icons. Anyone have any ideas?
If anyone wants to help you can upload them to a project and add me as a manager. I'll update you with sizes and how-to information if interested.
Even you ADR3-N... you have submissions that need icons! I know you aren't the main author of some of them, but there's at least 1 where you are. If I have to make them they will be of my choosing.

I didn't know that. I can't drive until I get a license seen about. I'll keep that in mind. Have you thought about starting up a Patreon or something similar? It's no replacement for an income unless you do something super major, but it can help. YT is my only other source of money aside from odd jobs and the occasional tip on Paypal. I've had a few job interviews but a lot of people don't want to hire me because, ironically, I haven't been able to get a job since graduating college, and I don't have a license.

Yeah, I can definitely see the reasoning -- especially if they knew your wife was very much into activism. That kind of ideology is poison. I partially blame Darwin's theory of evolution for the surge of black people being called monkeys, people insinuating they are somehow less evolved. We have freedom of speech. Let people demonstrate, as long as they aren't hurting anyone or inciting hurt.

Likewise. As long as people still think skin color tells you much past medical predispositions, people like my niece, her granddaughter, and my sister will suffer. No one wants to associate with my sister because she's been living with a black guy for almost a decade, and even my own mom didn't talk to her for years. No one except the burger joints want to hire my niece because she was adopted by a black family as a child and had a mixed baby out of wed-lock a few years ago.
I see the side-ways looks when one of us holds her -- or my fiancee's sister's mixed child for that matter -- and at how they're dressed, and how I dress. It's not just the people we typically think as racist. It's tribalism. "They're stealing our women/men. They're against us. I don't care as long as it doesn't happen to me or mine." It's not caring. It's not seeing people as persons. I can see that in their eyes.
I live in a black community and have black friends, and I went to a majority black school as well for 13 years plus college. What did I learn? The racist kids were taught by their parents, and the rest got along fine. I wish they would spend more time at school teaching kids to love their fellow humans.

Yes, it's something new Tom's trying out as we try to get the older stuff prep'd for the day when nothing plays Flash. I guess that bug will have to be worked out. :)

Well if you're interested in helping all you would need to do is check out the Icon Mod thread in the Clubs, check out my last post, pick some iconless submissions and make away. I don't do anything fancy really. Just some basic zooming in to find a good shot that represents the submission, take a screen shot, make sure it follows Tom's general guidelines for size.

I personally wouldn't. Whether they are terrible, decent, good, etc... I think you should always keep your history. I sadly deleted like 100 submissions of mine and a bunch of posts because of personal reasons and now I don't have access to those original files anymore and their loss. I think it's neat to look back at your work and see how you've improved.

I just need to find the right opportunity. I've had good luck doing so in the past and I can do it again. I forgot about some stocks that I had stashed away and they were at what the professionals called an all time high for the next few years so I withdrew them.
It was enough to take away $3,500 dollars worth of bills paid off and reduced my monthly loss of $320 a month to about $190 a month. It's relaxed me a bit more knowing that the amount of additional hours needing to break even have just dropped quite a bit.
Thinking there is an average of 30 days in a month I just need to make about $6-$7 more a day to break even. I'm sure I can figure it out. Next two rent due dates will still be trying though if I can't figure something out by then.
I couldn't ask for a better job situation right now though. I live in family housing at an University because of my spouse going to grad school. My daughters day care is a 2 minute walk from our apartment, my job is a 15 minute walk from my apartment, and my spouses school is a 5 minute walk.

So I'm a Christian. I've just had a falling out with the church or at least all of the churches I've ever tried. We thought we found a keeper and were going there for over a year. I got baptized there and it really felt like family. One mothers day the pastor was out dealing with a family situation and his backup was speaking. He turned his mothers day speech into a gay bashing/anti gay speech. Some of the crowd just got up and left, us included. It was disgusting and as discriminatory as it comes. I called him out on it and he refused to show his face to me in public again.

Mine shall be too I fear. It'll be a sad day, but probably a big sigh of relief. He's a very angry man and has caused a lot of people a lot of hurt. That being said, minus the physical and mental abuse he put me and others through I couldn't have asked for a better teacher of patience, discipline, and dedication.
I'll never forget being in 2nd grade and not being able to eat dinner until I did all of the additional homework my father assigned me so I always got 100% on every spelling test. Or how I was forced to go to work even if I was sick and I never missed a single day of school until my college career.
Now I have to be basically dying to miss something and never learned how to give up. I thank him for that.

I think this is something to do with the site going over to HTTPS. In the most recent news post Tom said something about some games requiring a regular HTTP url, and that's what this pop out window seems to do. The couple of submissions I've seen this on I haven't been able to vote either.

I've never seen this before so it might be something new that Tom is testing.I changed it so it doesn't popup in a new window, so voting should work now. Yes, it's something new Tom's trying out as we try to get the older stuff prep'd for the day when nothing plays Flash. I guess that bug will have to be worked out. :)
Update, yes, they're working on it. There's now a link that should help with the voting situation. However, I've been clearing the popup requirement that the authors have been mistakenly adding to these. They add it without understanding what it's for, so when it's unnecessary, I clear it.

Try donating blood plasma. That's what I do. Unlike blood donating, plasma donating can be done twice a week, and they pay. Not everyplace pays for blood, and you can only donate blood every 6 weeks or so.
I've made over $2800 this year. They usually pay bonus amounts for the first 3-5 donations so that new donors come in, and keep coming back enough to get over the initial shock of 'what the hell am I doing?!' My center currently gives $75 for each of the first 3 donations, then $45 for the 4th and 5th. It can change After that, it's $25 for the first of the week, and $5 for the second. That's $70 a week and $280 a month, but there are also bonuses and drawings every month. I've won a $250 gift card and lots of smaller bonuses and things in my time. The last several month, they've had an increasing amount as you do more donations. I made $440 last month.
If you plan on going, let me know beforehand and I'll give you advice on how to make it as best as possible. It can be crummy if you don't prepare correctly the first time(s). :\ I wasn't sure I'd return after the first time, but I've been going for 2 1/2 years now. :)

Lot's of hentai in the portal lately. Is there a way to toggle adult submission like that off? I do most of my browsing from an office computer. I've been getting a decent amount of blams overall though.

Later today or this week I'll make a post in the icon mod thread and tag you in it with some instructions/examples. If we could, collectively as a team, just do like 10 icons a day we would move through the rest of them fairly quickly. I only do like 3-4 a day so I'm not claiming to be making leaps and bounds. These 3-4 only take 5-10 minutes though.

That sounds like a decent opportunity. If I can find a center nearby the misses and I could make a date of it. Drop our daughter off at grandmas and go together. I did a quick search and it looks like the closest center to me is about 20 miles away. That's about an hour where I live, but if we can go frequently and get paid for it then it would be better than working a 2nd job.
