I think it was luck on my end. The company I worked for gave a 15% discount if you had it come out of your paycheck. I bought most of my stock when they were around $30 each and sold them for $80 each.

I could make one... slightly embarrassed... slightly to proud... slightly too concerned with it ending up with $0 in it. I guess it's worth a shot though. We figured $2,500 puts us in a situation with bills where I don't have to take a second job and we will start being financially stable. Moving across country just cost us so much.
That's not bad at all, aside from expenses. I can remember my mom talking about how tight money was for her back in the day, working 12 hours a day and then some and having to pay extra if she was held over and picked me up late. Also, I'm always happy to hear about happily married couples with kids. My mom and dad split when I was 6 weeks old. Lot of hardship.
We pay below average rent for the area and below average childcare too. We have a lot of things going for us. Just need to get through the temporary struggle.

Memories with dad
I can say he's been there for me every time I really needed him to be. He's a good dad.. he has problems.. he knows it to, but I think he's too far in and too old for help now. He's in his 70s and with his health issues I expect the phone call any year now.
From then on, we went to Pensacola every year around the same time, sometimes on the weekend, sometimes not, haha. That being said, I never had to worry about my grades. I was just a natural inquisitive. I was reading encyclopedias before I was in school.
Grades were never an issue. It was pure perfection. I couldn't get less than 100% on every single assignment and not get whooped for it.
Performing while sick
I have nothing to compare this with. I once ran for a 40 yard touchdown two plays after breaking my ankle though haha.

We always debate having another child. I think the idea of birthing another child makes us second guess it. We will adopt whenever we find ourselves financially able. I'm thinking when she graduates and one of these Universities is lucky enough to grab her as a professor.

Adult submissions do indeed look pretty abysmal because of the ads though, but it's not something I have to think about. It's always a bit of a shock the odd time I open a submission incognito and am assaulted with the ad-filled version of the site, and its such a shame most people have to view the site that way. A totally ad-free NG is definitely achievable if more people support though, so get shilling.
And @ADR3-N your band story is pretty harsh and all but this one time I feinted from the heat while standing at assembly while some teacher droned on for two hours about nothing and I'll have you know it was literally the worst!!!!

It's cool dude, I was just messing with you. You we're right to report it but just not because it was stolen. NSR generally submit Escape Games to Newgrounds & there original account was NSR Escapegames. The account name will likely never match because they have to use Alt account names to be able to submit their stuff. That's why we're always on the lookout for them & others that do the same. It's fairly rare these days that any of this kind of stuff lasts more than a few minutes, thanks to our crack team of Portal Mods.

Reporting stolen content does not affect your whistle status, but it does help us keep the portal clean.
As for Rage's thread, it was shut down due to abuse, and it has been made very clear that it will never be resurrected under penalty of a painfully slow death.

Reporting stuff in this thread won't give you whistle points but using the flag button on submission pages will. If you just want a deity whistle the quickest route is by reporting stolen audio, check out the audio portal cleanup thread for examples and then browse the unscouted submissions, you'll find loads of blatant thefts without effort. Just make sure you provide proof (a youtube link to the song clearly uploaded by someone else is enough) when reporting.
