Hi, Lizz! Long time no speak! Things are ok here - we've had better days, but we're hanging in there. The portal has slowed down a bit, but we're still doing our job.

The whistle can indeed not be used for flagging flashes anymore - this system was removed shortly before the introduction of the portal moderation system. Now portal moderators and members of the Elite Guard Barracks work together to get abusive stuff removed. Conveniently, I fall in both categories ^^

I take issue with this one. Stolen? Maybe. Who creates a game and uploads it with a description of "For Someone; not you"? Also, when I try to play, it refuses to connect to the servers, which makes it inoperable.

Dear god, this whole site appears so empty nowadays, looking at traffic rankings it looks like Newgrounds as a whole is in real decline. Seeing as the NGPD appears to be dead in the water I'll pop into here instead and say hey to all three people here who might vaguely recall my username from when the clubs worked together, hopefully things are going well and whatever's left of the portal's in safe hands; from the looks of the obituaries it looks like the excessive saving hasn't ceased to be a problem.

No offense taken, especially because I agree with you on the matter. It would be very similiar to how flagging reviews works, reviews that got enough flags get overseen my review mods and then they can either delete them when they are abusive or clear them, with or without penalty.
I think the biggest problem though is that right now there are a good amount of things that the staff works on which have rightfully preferance over such a change and that a rehaul of the whistle system is kind of difficult to work out. I remember pretty well that it took very long for a flash to get flagged - and that was more than a year ago when we had more active users with higher whistle ranks. So, it's tricky but I definitely would like to see a rehauled, working system that lets every user help out to get rid of abusive content.
