Sorry about the double post, but my comments didn't fit in the first one....
Anyway, it's been an interesting month. Our friend and compatriot Lizzardis officially has resigned his post; I am happy for him, because things are really looking for him IRL and he deserves every happiness that comes his way. He'll be missed, and always welcomed if he pops back in.
We also welcome Sgt. Major Chrausner -(recently changed his name from Criminal-23) to the ranks. Looks like he's off to a great start.
Also doing spectacular things are Staff Sgt. Spretznatz, Lt. Decky and EGSC GameJunkie. They clearly spend literally every day on Newgrounds, taking down shovelware, stolen flash and all the other undesirable entries tossed into the portal. Spretznatz averages OVER 3 posts PER DAY, and Decky & GameJunkie OVER 2 Posts PER DAY. They also have been very active voting in the portal, getting a lot of those hard-to-find blam points.
You three continue to be a shining example of what the Elite Guard stands for, and if anyone ever asks what they need to do to be the best, I will show them what you all do - leading by example. Gentlemen, I salute you *SALUTES*
I do appreciate all the activity from all of our members, no matter how much they can give. Every bit counts, and all help is welcomed. However, I have been monitoring the activity of some members and quite frankly there are about a dozen members on the active roster that have had NO ACTIVITY whatsoever in the past 6 MONTHS - including "hey, I'm still alive" posts. Within the next few weeks I will PM these members directly and ask if they plan on returning to active duty. Those that do not answer will be set as INACTIVE - they are still in the database, but not displayed on the roster. I will discuss my findings (again via PM) with the command staff, and with their approval make my changes for the January 1st roster presentation. Understand this: I am not upset with their absences - I am certain that real life has taken priority over the Barracks, and I can definitely accept and understand that. No one is here forever, but in the interest of fairness and accuracy, if a member can't / won't stay somewhat active during the year, they need to step down (or at least go on leave).
The active members here are all doing a fine job, and I hope 2013 brings in more recruits. Our battle is never over, and while many think it's not worth the trouble anymore, I can proudly stand shoulder-to-shoulder with all my comrades here who not only think otherwise - they prove it every day.
Thank you all for all your hard work - it is truly appreciated.

Well, that mega gap between IzzyDude and Ismael92 is still making what ever gain I get per month almost pointless seeming, of course that doesn't mean I'm going to give in, it's just strange to think that at this rate I'll pass Ismael92 around May or June.

Cheers Byte. I try my hardest to get as many of those shovelware/stolen flashes out of The Portal. Though I have to (as I'm sure the other two would also) give credit to the portal mods that remove the crap almost as soon as it is reported.

I still remember the absolutely disgusting state of the portal in March/early April, and I just don't want to see it even close to that level again. And Decky's quite right, the portal mods have made what's probably the single biggest difference so far in getting the crap off NG.

Congrats to the EGB and all of the achievements it is very sad to see Lizzardid go but I'm really glad to see things are going well for him. Yes it nearly 2013 I wonder what the new year will be like for EGB and Newgrounds. On the list my stats are the same and my b/p still not moved next year, I want to improve that and maybe more reviews and b/ping.
