Just thought I would let you guys know that I wont be around for at least the next couple of weeks. I just found out one of my dearest friends is dying of lung cancer and has been told he has very little time left to live. So I'm going to Darwin to spend some quality time with him. I will resume normal duties upon my return.

You're a good soul, GameJunkie. Be with your friend, make some memories and help him live for the rest of his days. I do not envy your task, for it is difficult to see someone succumb to this disease - I know this first hand. It is a sad time, but you'll make a difference - he won't be alone or abandoned, and he'll have a great friend like you to help him smile a little as his time grows near.

My heart and prayers go out to both of you. Stay strong - and if possible, give him the time of his life.

We'll be here - but he needs you a lot more than we do. When you're ready, you'll be back. Until then, know that we do care, and we hope that in the end, it was as peaceful and painless as possible for everyone.

This time last year, we knew that the writing was on the wall for my Godfather. He had stomach cancer and the disease claimed him over nine months. We knew that the cancer was so advanced that all they could do for him was palliative measures of care, so when he slipped away in December, we were sombre, yet also relieved.

It makes you stop and think just how fragile life is.

It's also one of the reasons that I'm growing my moustache this month. In the hope that we might save just one more life.

I'm not a religious man at all, but Godspeed.

My condolences to GameJunkie. I too have lost people to cancer. Make sure to spend time with him and let him know that you care.

I'll be blunt here, watching someone close to you go through something like this sucks. Trust me when I say that people like you being there can literally mean the world to them. Take all the time you need-we're certainly not going anywhere.

I really sorry about you're friend gamejunkie. Well my laptop is fucked a faint green line appeared on the screen it should not be there and it out of warranty. I had enough of it now the laptop was newish only over a year old. I have a spare on which is newer hopefully this one will be okay. My red laptop one crashed when in sleep one and that was not right it may have been faulty since it was new.

Isn't it truly one of the pleasures of finding these stolen flashes when they do something as stupid as put something like that in the description. It proves that they think it's ok to just take somebody's work and resubmit it on different sites. God bless idiots.
